Licensing criteria for the Creator Plan
On this page, you will find the licensing criteria for using SOUNDRAW while under the Creator Plan. Please read below for more info!
When the song is used only as background music in a video posted to the following medium:
YouTube, social media
TV
Web advertising
Corporate videos
Live streaming
VTube
Vlog
Use as background music for videos not owned by yourself (videos owned by clients and the above content)
In cases where the music is not used only to support the video, and is the main content being promoted.
Examples:
Meditation videos
Music for works
Lofi Girl-style channels, where the non-audio content are just animations that don't change or barely change at all
Videos that only contain still images, where the audio content is clearly the main point of interest to the video
The examples above are not considered video creations and are treated by us as “audio creations” and, therefore forbidden under the Creator Plan. If you are interested in using SOUNDRAW under these use cases, please contact support@soundraw.co.jp.
You can use SOUNDRAW's music as background music for audio content in the following categories:
Radio Broadcasts
Podcasts
Guided Meditations
When the song is used as background music in the following:
Games (for rhythm or music-based games, please contact our customer support for more details)
Apps
Store Background Music
Events
Selling or transferring the downloaded songs to a third party (such as acquaintances, friends, clients, etc.)
If you want to use SOUNDRAW to distribute songs via DSP (on Spotify, etc), you can now sign up for our Artist Plan!
Registering any song under a Content ID system (prohibited under any plan). That way, the music stays accessible to all our users, even if the Content ID system recognises similarities. Still, all songs generated with SOUNDRAW are unique.
