Test Taker Guide

Each test may have different access methods, devices, and question types. Before starting, carefully review the rules and policies for your specific test.You only need to follow the instructions that apply to your test.

Test A: Connect only the webcam

Test B: Connect both the webcam and mobile camera

Test C: Connect the mobile camera and submit your ID

  • Carefully review the rules and tidy up your surroundings.

  • Remove any unnecessary items to avoid misunderstandings.

  • Start the Room Scan step in the Monito app and review the guide instructions.

  • Even after starting, you can check the scanning guide from the Guide button at the bottom left.

Some parts cannot be retaken individually. If you stop or retake, you must start over from the front view. We recommend completing your preparation before proceeding.

  • Move horizontally from the front to the right, capturing 4 angles.

  • Based on the front view, capture 2 vertical angles.

  • Press the capture button and slowly move for about 5 seconds:

    • From front to ceiling.

    • From front to floor.(Like taking a panorama.)

  • Only if requested by the rules.

  • Place a blank sheet horizontally and capture both the front and back.

  • If no paper is required, simply capture your desk without paper and proceed to the next step.


  • If the front camera connection step is still pending, please continue in the app.

  • Once your submission is successfully completed, the Next button will be activated.If this is the final connection step, you will be taken to the setup completion stage.

  • A proctor may verify your setup depending on regulations.

  • At the scheduled time, the Start button will be activated.

Do I need to submit my surroundings again on the test day?

The environment photos you submitted during the demo test are not saved.The demo test is only for practicing how to record your surroundings.Please take and submit new environment photos during the main test.

I can’t see the “Next” button while connecting the Monito app.

If you don’t see the Start environment recording or arrow (→) button, try reducing the text size in your phone settings.

Android

  • Open SettingsDisplay.

  • Go to Font and screen zoom and adjust the text or display size.

iPhone (iOS)

  • Open SettingsDisplay & BrightnessText Size.

  • Drag the slider to make the text smaller.If the issue continues, go to Settings → Display & Brightness → Display Zoom and set it to Standard.
