Spotlight Use

Users on the same map can see and hear the spotlight user's video and audio.

  • Host Settings > Map > See videos of all participants when spotlighted on.

In a map with the above settings applied, spotlighted users can view the video of all participants in the map.

  • You can adjust the audio settings for each user individually.

  • Use the slider in the video/sharing screen box of the user you want to adjust the volume for.

Screen sharing is only available on PC.

To share your screen, click on the Share Screen button at the bottom of the screen and choose to share your entire screen, a window, or a browser tab with others in the map.

If you do not wish to share the system audio, please disable it by clicking the Share tab audio checkbox again.

  • When screen sharing, the screen will be displayed in an additional video box labeled as nickname’s screen.

  • Through the existing video box, you can simultaneously broadcast your video (camera) and audio (microphone).

How to Resolve Screen Share Issues

 Refresh your browser (F5).

Close the browser and open it again.

 Try a different browser.

 Restart your device.

Turn off or on the spotlight feature.

Try other share options (tab, window, or entire screen).

When the shared screen goes black:

  • Turn off the hardware acceleration feature.

    • In Chrome, open Settings, go to System, and toggle on the "Use hardware acceleration when available" option.

  • Disconnect and reconnect your monitor, then reboot your computer: Sometimes, a disconnected or faulty monitor can cause the shared screen to go black. Disconnect and then reconnect your monitor, reboot your device, then try screen sharing again.
