  • Owner, Admin, Staff, or Editor

In ZEP, web embedding works as an iframe. Occasionally, websites block the use of iframes when they are not on the same domain. In this case, web embedding will not be possible in ZEP without contacting the development team of the website concerned.

In addition, the web embed function applies iframe src= automatically, so make sure you use a general web link that is https:// + the web address you want to link to.

For example (when using web embed feature):

<iframe src="https://zep.us=”html> zep.us

https://zep.us

Placing a link or opening a new window may not be possible in the following situations:

  • The URL link is an HTTP address.

  • The original site blocks embedding.

As many websites do not allow web embedding, we recommend using the "Open website in a new tab" function instead.

Please refer to the information below when creating a map.

First, create a Map Location(F) tile where you want to move, and then set an Area Name. Next, set the target map and location name with the Portal tile in the Map Editor, and users will be spawned at the desired location on the desired map.

To install a portal that leads to a specific place, you must first define a map location.

Select Tile effects and Stamp from the top panel and choose the Map Location effect.

Fill out the Area Name, Width, and Height boxes, and click on the tile(s) you want to set as the target area.

A single tile can have only one tile effect.

A private area is an area where users can communicate privately.

When the tiles around you get dark, it means you are in a “Private Area.” Only those in the same private area can communicate with each other.

Private areas are useful in various situations, such as having a 1-on-1 chat or studying alone in study maps.

You can hover your mouse over an individual object in the Map Editor and delete it using the 'trash can' button.
