Introducing [B Only] characters, where the worlds of the creators you love grow even deeper.
BabeChat is a space where creators and users build special stories together.
We want creators' remarkable imagination and effort to be fully respected, and we want to offer users a depth of enjoyment they can't experience anywhere else.
With that vision in mind, we're introducing a special kind of character available exclusively on BabeChat:
[B Only].
[B Only] refers to a very special character that a creator has committed to releasing exclusively on the BabeChat platform.
It may be a character built around the creator's most original ideas or richest stories — a special creation brought to life just for BabeChat users.
Respect for a creator's special choice
A creator's decision to release their work exclusively on BabeChat is a deeply valued expression of trust in us.
As a sign of that respect and appreciation, BabeChat offers a higher Berry earning rate for [B Only] characters than for regular characters.
This means users' Support becomes an even bigger boost for creators, creating a virtuous cycle that builds a stable creative environment.
Baby | Rookie | Super | Mega | Hyper | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Berry earnings(B Only) | 11% | 11% | 14% | 17% | 20% |
Berry earnings(Regular) | 10% | 10% | 11% | 12% | 13% |
(Earning rates vary by creator tier)
A stable, deeply immersive experience for users
Knowing that the characters and stories you've grown attached to won't suddenly disappear is essential for true immersion. [B Only] is built on a creator's commitment to keep the character available for at least 100 days.
This serves as a safeguard so you can dive into a character's world with confidence, and it gives BabeChat the basis to trust in the work's value and share it with more people.
How to set it up
Path: [Create/Edit Character] > [Edit & Register] > toggle [B Only Setting] ON
Please note: The moment you turn the setting ON, it is locked for 100 days and cannot be changed (turning it OFF is disabled). This is an important promise to your users, so please choose carefully.
Setting [B Only] is an important commitment to users and to BabeChat.
Minimum period: Once a character is set to [B Only], the status is maintained for 100 days.
Full exclusivity
A character set to [B Only] must be released exclusively on the BabeChat platform. (Applies to new works.)
If you convert an existing work that was being published simultaneously on other platforms to [B Only], you must immediately stop updating that work on all other platforms and post a discontinuation notice there.
Sample discontinuation notice: "This work is no longer being updated as of [B Only start date]. All future updates will be provided exclusively on BabeChat [B Only]."
BabeChat's focused support: In return for this commitment, BabeChat will provide concentrated support so [B Only] characters get more attention, including a dedicated [B Only section] and a range of in-app placements and marketing activities.
Freedom to switch: Once the minimum period (100 days) has passed, creators can turn off the [B Only] setting whenever they like.
After turning off [B Only], you are free to publish on other platforms at any time.
Q1. How can I tell which characters are [B Only]?
A1. [B Only] characters display a special [B Only] badge so you can easily recognize them in profiles and lists.
Q2. Does chatting with a [B Only] character cost more ProChat?
A2. No. [B Only] characters don't use any more ProChat than others. The cost to you is the same as for a regular character.
However, ProChat spent on [B Only] characters goes back to the creator at a higher Berry earning rate, so the same conversation means bigger Support for the creator.
Q3. Why is a minimum 100-day period required?
A3. This protects users who choose a [B Only] character by ensuring they can enjoy the story reliably for at least that period.
It's also an important mutual commitment that lets BabeChat confidently invest marketing resources to bring great works to more people.
BabeChat believes that when our creators grow, the service grows with them.
We'll always cheer on and support your amazing creative work so you can reach your full potential.
Thank you. — The BabeChat Team
