Lorebook

A lorebook is best understood as a settings collection that helps important information get reflected easily in your chats with the AI. When a keyword set in the lorebook is detected during a chat, the pre-written content for that keyword is reflected in the input prompt so the character can reference it when replying. This lets character creators vividly bring specially crafted background information, worldbuilding, items, and more into AI chats.

You can set it up in the 'Lorebook' tab when creating a character! For existing characters, edit the character info in the My > Character Management tab.

• Record worldbuilding or extra information, and the related content is automatically provided when the character or user mentions a specific keyword.

  • Use it in all kinds of ways: character traits, worldbuilding, relationship maps, affection levels, item descriptions, location info, records of past events, and more!

• There's no limit to the number of lorebooks you can save

  • However, up to 5 lorebooks can be used at the same time, and higher-ranked lorebooks are applied first.

• Each lorebook can store up to 500 characters of information.

• Each lorebook can have up to 5 keywords.

  • Each keyword can be up to 20 characters long.

  • Since keywords are detected automatically, we recommend distinctive keywords that instantly convey the setting rather than overly common ones.

• You can set a title for each lorebook. Press the 'Edit' button on the right to edit the title.

• Up to 5 lorebooks can be applied at once, with higher-ranked ones taking priority. Use the = mark on the left to change the order.

To edit a lorebook's content and keywords, open the lorebook and add or change the content.

You can delete lorebooks you no longer need. However, deleted lorebooks cannot be restored, so please delete carefully.
