The Memory Book automatically summarizes and stores your conversations with a character. The summarized information becomes the character's memory and is used to maintain context and build a more consistent story.
The Memory Book consists of two parts: Main Memory and Detailed Memory.
Main Memory is the basic memory feature provided to all users.
Storage capacity: Summarizes and stores up to 2,000 characters of conversation.
Direct editing: If the summary contains errors or unwanted information, you can edit it directly to correct the direction of the conversation.
How It Works
Main Memory automatically summarizes content in a set order as the conversation progresses.
Summary cycle: After the first 5 turns (when you and the character have each exchanged 5 messages), every 6 turns thereafter, the previous conversation excluding the most recent exchanges is automatically summarized.
This summary cycle may change through optimization during the beta test period.
Detailed Memory is a dedicated feature available with the Memory+ purchase. It preserves more memories than Main Memory.
Storage capacity: Each memory chunk summarizes and stores up to 1,500 characters of conversation, and chunks keep accumulating without limit.
Direct editing: If the summary contains errors or unwanted information, you can edit it directly to correct the direction of the conversation.
How It Works
Detailed Memory automatically summarizes and accumulates content in a set order as the conversation progresses.
Among all chunks accumulated in the conversation, up to the set number of chunks (5 by default) are retrieved.
Summary cycle: At regular intervals, the conversation is automatically summarized and saved as a new memory chunk.
Applying to existing chats: After purchasing Memory+, part of the chat is automatically summarized when you enter a chat room you were already using.
How it's used: Each time the character replies, it selects up to the set number of chunks needed for the current conversation from the accumulated memories.
Users who purchased Memory+ can spend additional ProChats to directly adjust the maximum number of memories (chunks) retrieved into the conversation. Use the slider to set how many memories (chunks) to retrieve in the current conversation.
ProChats are consumed once per conversation turn, and event ProChats can be used the same way. The memory amount can be adjusted step by step even while in use.

The Memory Book is still in beta and may behave unintentionally in certain situations. The cautions below apply to Main Memory and Detailed Memory both.
Compatibility issues with rewind and bulk message deletion
If you delete a lot of conversation content using the rewind feature, the Memory Book's content may no longer match the actual conversation.
Editing guide
When editing summaries, we recommend minimal corrections of only the incorrect information.
Caution: If you change the structure significantly or add content that wasn't there, the AI may misread the flow of the conversation, unexpectedly affecting the character's next actions or lines.
The following features are planned to improve your conversation experience.
