Starting Situations

Register a variety of starting situations to offer a richer experience.

A starting situation is a feature that sets the scene where the character and the user first meet. By pre-setting the situation the conversation starts in and the character's opening line, users can naturally immerse themselves in the roleplay.

BabeChat Starting Situations in 3 Lines

  • Set up the first encounter with the character by entering a setting name, opening situation, and opening line.

  • Register multiple scenarios with Add Settings, and users can pick a situation to start the conversation.

  • Use suggested replies in advanced settings to help users start the first conversation easily.

  • Setting name: The title users see when choosing a scenario. We recommend keeping it concise — within 10 characters — with key words like the story's situation or characters.

  • Opening situation: Set the first situation between the character and the user. Describing the place, time, mood, and the character's state in detail helps users understand and immerse in the situation. (Up to 1,000 characters)

  • Opening line: Enter the character's first message. It's best written so the character's personality and speech style come through. Press the 'Auto-generate' button to generate the opening line automatically based on the opening situation. (Up to 500 characters)

Add Settings lets you register multiple starting scenarios for a single character. Users can choose the scenario they want when starting a chat.

Even with the same character, offering situations like 'meeting at school', 'by chance at a cafe', or 'first blind date' gives users a much richer experience. Try setting up situations that show off different sides of the character per scenario.

Suggested replies provide answer options users can choose from in response to the character's opening line. Users can jump straight into the roleplay by picking a suggested reply instead of wondering how to start.

You can register up to 3 suggested replies in advanced settings, each up to 200 characters.
