A lorebook is a collection of character settings registered in advance by the character's creator! It contains detailed settings such as the world, character relationships, and past events.
When a keyword registered in the lorebook comes up during a chat, the related setting is automatically delivered to the character. Thanks to this, the character doesn't forget its settings and keeps the conversation consistent!
It works automatically every time you send a message. No setup needed!
It checks for keywords in the message you sent and the character's previous reply.
When a keyword is detected, the lorebook's content is delivered to the character.
The character reflects the delivered settings and generates a reply!
Lorebook content is delivered only to the character and is not displayed on the chat screen.
If no keyword is detected, nothing is delivered.
Even if the character references the lorebook, it may not appear in the reply
A lorebook registered on the character 'Minjun'
Keywords: younger sister, Yuna
Content: Yuna is Minjun's younger sister. She left to study in Canada three years ago, and Minjun misses her.
Me: "I heard you have a younger sister?"
→ The message contains "younger sister", so the lorebook is triggered!
Minjun: "Yeah… her name is Yuna. She went to study in Canada three years ago. I've been missing her a lot lately."
Without the lorebook, the character wouldn't know about the sister and would make up a different story every time. Thanks to the lorebook, character settings stay consistent!
By default, up to 5 lorebooks are applied per reply. If several are detected at once, the top 5 are applied according to the priority set by the creator.
If you want deeper conversations, Lorebook Expansion lets you raise the maximum number applied! Expansion doesn't increase the trigger chance — it increases the maximum number that can be applied at once.
Menu ⋮ button at the top right of the chat room > Lorebook is where you set it!
You can adjust the applied count from 5 up to the maximum set by the creator (up to 15), as you like.
The default is 5 (Expansion OFF), and it's a feature you turn on yourself. Until you turn it on, the free range (5) always applies!
Once saved, it applies from your next message.
Characters without a lorebook cannot use Expansion.
Up to 5 lorebooks are applied for free!
When more than 5 are applied, 3 ProChats per additional lorebook are used.
ProChats are deducted per message only for the number actually applied (matched)!
Example: even if you set the count to 8, if only 6 matched in this reply, only the 1 extra — 3 ProChats — is deducted.
If 5 or fewer keywords match, no ProChats are deducted!
You can't see the number or content of the lorebooks the creator registered, but ProChats are deducted only for actual matches, so don't worry!
If the maximum decreases: if your applied count exceeds the new maximum, it is automatically adjusted to the new maximum. ProChats are deducted based on the adjusted count, and you'll see a notice on the lorebook settings screen! If your applied count is within the new maximum, nothing changes.
If the maximum increases: your applied count stays the same. It doesn't increase automatically — adjust it yourself if you want!
When changes take effect: the maximum you set applies normally from the moment you re-enter that chat room.
When creating a new chat room: the applied count always restarts at the default (5, free range).
When branching a conversation: if you branch an existing conversation, the applied value you set in the previous chat room is kept.
Billing is always based on the number actually applied, in every case!
