Chat shortcuts are commands that change the direction of a conversation in a single click. Type / in the message box to bring up the shortcut list; pick the one you want and it's sent right away — no need to write anything else.
When you're deep in the story and the same lines come back, or the plot keeps going in circles, you can jump to the next scene without leaving the chat!
Type
/in the chat input.Choose the shortcut you want from the list.
Send it, and the character continues its next reply following the shortcut's direction.
No extra setup or input is needed.
Shortcut | What it does | Try it when |
|---|---|---|
| Stops the same lines and plot from repeating. | The story keeps going in circles, or the character only waits. |
| Jumps ahead a few days, summarizes what happened in between, and starts a new scene. | The conversation drags on, or you want a fresh start on a new day or place. |
| Sparks a new event that fits the world. | You want to bring change to the relationship. |
| Brings in 3 supporting characters that fit the world. | A two-person scene feels a bit dull. |
Only one shortcut can be used at a time.
A shortcut is a request that guides the direction of the conversation, so results may vary depending on the character's settings and the context.
If a shortcut's instructions conflict with the work's settings, the work's settings may take priority.
If there's a shortcut you'd like to see added, let us know through the support chat. We'll take your suggestions into account for future updates!
