[Important Notice] Update on U.S.-Bound Shipping Options

2026.02.26

Due to recent changes in U.S. tariff regulations, Delivered Korea is providing an update regarding U.S.-bound shipments.

This notice applies exclusively to shipments to the United States.

Repeal of Previous Reciprocal Tariff

  • The 15% reciprocal tariff imposed under IEEPA has been ruled invalid.

  • Effective date: February 20, 2026.

New Temporary Tariff (Section 122)

  • A temporary 10% additional tariff has been introduced on imported goods (excluding certain textile items).

  • Effective period: February 24, 2026 – July 24, 2026 (150 days).

Please note that U.S. tariff policies remain subject to further revision.

To minimize clearance risks and protect you from unexpected costs, Delivered Korea will maintain a conservative approach for our DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service.

Delivered Korea will continue to calculate the related fees based on a 15% tariff rate, despite the current 10% temporary mandate.

  • Why 15%? There is a high possibility that the U.S. government may increase the rate from 10% back to 15% (or higher) via additional executive actions.

  • Our Goal: By maintaining the 15% threshold, we prevent situations where customers are suddenly asked to pay "additional duty gaps" mid-transit, ensuring a smoother door-to-door experience.

If you prefer to pay the exact current market rate (currently 10%) at the time of arrival, we strongly recommend using our "Pay Duties & Taxes on Delivery" service.

  • Process: Duties are not prepaid to Delivered Korea. Instead, you will pay the actual applicable rate directly to local authorities once the package arrives in the U.S.

  • Note: Customers choosing this option must directly manage the risk of any sudden policy or rate fluctuations during the shipping process.

Delivered Korea is operating under the safest possible standards to ensure your U.S. shipments are processed without disruption. We will provide immediate updates as soon as the final government policies are confirmed.

Thank you for choosing Delivered Korea.
