Notice: U.S. CPSC eFiling Requirements for Certain Products

2026. 06. 30

Dear Customers,

Starting July 8, 2026, certain products shipped to the United States may require CPSC eFiling for U.S. customs clearance.

This may apply even to small B2C purchases for personal use if the product is subject to CPSC certification requirements.

CPSC requirements may apply to certain regulated consumer products, such as:

  • Toys

  • Children’s products

  • Children’s clothing

  • Strollers

  • Car seats

  • Children’s sleep products

  • Electronics

  • Mattresses

  • Furniture

  • Rugs

  • Candles

  • Other CPSC-regulated consumer products

Please note that not all products in these categories are automatically subject to CPSC eFiling. Requirements may vary depending on the product type, material, intended use, age grade, and applicable U.S. safety standards.

Before requesting shipment to the United States, please check with the seller, manufacturer, or supplier whether the product requires CPSC certification.

If the product is subject to CPSC requirements, you may need to provide certificate information for customs clearance.

Customers may also use CPSC’s Regulatory Robot as a general self-check tool to help identify possible CPSC safety requirements for their product. Please note that this tool is for general guidance only and does not replace confirmation from the seller, manufacturer, supplier, or a qualified compliance professional.

Required certificate data may include:

  • Product ID

  • Citation Codes

  • Manufacture Date

  • Manufacture Place

  • Product Test Date

  • Testing Laboratory

  • Point of Contact

If the seller, manufacturer, or supplier cannot provide the required CPSC information, U.S. customs clearance may be delayed or may not be completed.

Customers may use the official CPSC Product Registry to enter and manage product certificate information.

If you use the CPSC Product Registry, you may need to provide the following identifiers to the customs broker, carrier, or relevant clearance party:

  • Certifier ID

  • Product ID

  • Version ID

A customs broker is the party that handles or supports the U.S. import customs filing for your shipment. In many cases, this may be arranged through the carrier or the relevant customs clearance party.

Please note that entering information in the CPSC Product Registry does not automatically complete customs filing. The required information must still be provided to the customs broker, carrier, or relevant clearance party.

If the required CPSC information is missing, incomplete, inaccurate, or cannot be verified, your shipment may be delayed, held by customs, subject to additional document requests, returned, disposed of, or subject to additional costs.

Delivered Korea provides shipping-related support only. Customers/recipients are responsible for confirming whether their products are subject to CPSC requirements and for providing accurate certificate information.

Delivered Korea is not the manufacturer, testing laboratory, certification body, or customs broker for each product. Therefore, our ability to support CPSC compliance issues may be limited.
