Please be informed that the EU is expected to introduce changes to customs rules for low-value shipments.
From July 1, 2026, shipments valued under EUR 150 may be subject to a fixed customs duty of EUR 3 per HS code item.
This means that the total duty may vary depending on the number of HS code classifications included in each shipment.
Examples
1 HS code = EUR 3
2 HS codes = EUR 6
3 HS codes = EUR 9
T-shirt + T-shirt→ 1 HS code → EUR 3
T-shirt + Sweater→ 2 HS codes → EUR 6
T-shirt + Sweater + Bag→ 3 HS codes → EUR 9
T-shirt × 2 + Sweater × 1 + Bag × 1→ 3 HS codes → EUR 9
Silk blouse × 1 + Wool blouse × 2→ 2 HS codes → EUR 6
Clothes + Shoes + Bag + Toy→ 4 HS codes → EUR 12
The customs duty is the responsibility of the recipient of the package. If the duty is not paid, customs clearance may be delayed, or the package may be returned or disposed of by customs.
Please note that the final customs duty may vary depending on the customs authority’s assessment.
