Upcoming Changes to Turkish Customs Regulations

Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you of upcoming regulatory changes to Türkiye’s Simplified Customs Declaration, effective July 1, 2025.

This simplified clearance process applies to:

-B2B (Business to Business) shipments valued up to 22 EUR

-B2C (Business to Consumer) shipments valued up to 30 EUR Note: Value includes transportation costs but excludes insurance.

Key Changes

To qualify for simplified customs clearance, the following receiver information is now mandatory:

-B2B shipments: Receiver’s Tax ID number or mobile phone number

-B2C shipments: Receiver’s Turkish ID number or mobile phone number

Potential Impact

If the required information is not submitted within 72 hours of arrival in Türkiye, a fine of approximately EUR 40 per shipment may be applied.

What You Need to Do

- Accurately complete the ‘You Buy Order’ form with a clear item description and correct value for customs declaration.

- Provide a reachable contact phone number in the receiver’s address details when placing your shipping request.

- Provide the required receiver information (Tax ID, Turkish ID, or mobile phone number) promptly when contacted by local customs authorities.

- Ensure the receiver responds quickly to any customs notifications—shipments may be returned if there is no response within 20 days.
