Update on U.S.-Bound Shipping Options

2025.09.15

Due to recent changes in U.S. customs regulations, Delivered Korea is updating its shipping options for parcels bound for the United States.

This update applies exclusively to U.S. shipments.

We currently provide two types of shipping options:

1. Pay Duties & Taxes on Delivery

  • Duties and taxes are not included in the shipping fee.

  • Upon arrival in the U.S., the recipient is required to pay all applicable duties and taxes directly to the carrier or U.S. Customs.

2. Prepaid All Duties & Taxes

  • Duties and taxes are prepaid together with the shipping fee.

  • Delivered Korea will handle customs clearance on your behalf, so you can receive your package without additional charges upon delivery.

Please note: Depending on carrier agreements, both options may be available, or only one may be provided. Options are subject to future changes.

  • FedEx, UPS, DHL

    • Pay Duties & Taxes on Delivery

    • Prepaid All Duties & Taxes

  • Delivered Standard

    • Prepaid All Duties & Taxes

  • Others

    • Pay Duties & Taxes on Delivery

This calculation is based on Delivered Korea’s predictive model, which considers HS code–based tariff rates, reciprocal tariffs, and carrier service fees.

Under the 'Prepaid All Duties & Taxes' option, the charges are applied as follows:

- HS code–based tariff rates: 5% of the product value

- Reciprocal tariffs: 15% of the product value

- Carrier service fees: Vary depending on the carrier’s advance payment fee policy

  • Please note that the estimated amounts may differ from the final determination made by customs.

  • The prices shown in the shipping calculator do not include taxes. You’ll see the prepaid duties & taxes options once your package arrives at our warehouse and you request for overseas shipment.

  • For Prepaid All Duties & Taxes, if the actual duties assessed are lower than the prepaid amount, the difference will not be refunded.
