A license grants the right to use specific content, while copyright is the legal right held by the creator. The copyright for clips provided by Dropshot Stock always belongs to the creator. When you purchase a clip, you are granted a license, giving you the right to use the clip for a specified project.

Dropshot Stock offers a Standard License and an Extended (Enterprise) License.
By default, clips downloaded through individual purchases or a subscription are covered under the Standard License. If your intended use exceeds the scope of the Standard License, you will need to purchase an Extended (Enterprise) License.
For every single clip purchases, they can be used permanently for the licensee’s project specified at the time of purchase.
For subscription plan, you may use each clip solely for the end project specified when downloading. Even after your subscription expires, the video can remain published for that project. However, using the clip in any project after the subscription period has ended is restricted.
At Dropshot Stock, you are required to enter a licensee when purchasing clips or using subscription clips. The licensee is the end user of the video project that will feature the clip and can be listed as an individual, team, or company.
If you wish to use a purchased clip for a different licensee’s project, you will need to repurchase the clip, even if it is the same one. The licensee name entered at the time of purchase cannot be changed later."
Yes. You can purchase the footage on the behalf of your clients, but you have to make sure that you put the name of your client for the licensee when you at the Payment page.
Yes, all clips provided by Dropshot Stock can be used commercially within the scope of the license.

Yes. Both the Standard and Extended Licenses allow you to use clips on YouTube and other social media platforms.
Clip can only be used in films or TV series with an Extended License.

Yes, you can issue a license certificate for purchased clips at any time from the Download page.
You can still access the license certificate after canceling a subscription. However, please note that if the license period has expired, the clip cannot be used for new video projects. Make sure to use the clip within the subscription period.
If you have deleted your account, please contact Customer Support to re-issue your license certificate.
No, the information on the license certificate based on the details provided at the time of purchase and cannot be modified afterward.
