Getting Started with Creating a Work

Complete the 9 steps in order to create your work

CS2026-09-10

Click [Create Work] in the top menu to open the creation screen.

The creation screen is divided into nine tabs. Click [Next Step] at the bottom of the screen to move through them in order.

Basic Settings → Work Introduction → Detailed Settings → Character Settings → Media Assets → Presets → Starting Scenario → Recommended Personas → Lorebook

You don’t have to complete everything at once. You can freely move between tabs, save your progress as a draft at any time, and come back to continue working later.

At the top of the screen, you’ll see “n required fields remaining.” The [Publish Work] button will not become available until all required fields have been completed.

Click this indicator to see a list of what is still missing. Select [Go to] next to an item to jump directly to the corresponding section.

You’ll also see indicators next to each tab name. Completed tabs are marked with a green checkmark, while tabs with remaining required fields display an orange number.

The following fields must be completed before you can publish your work:

  • Work Introduction: Work profile image, work title, work description, and genre

  • Detailed Settings

  • Character Settings: At least 1 character (name, detailed settings, and at least 1 image)

  • Starting Scenario: At least 1 scenario

Presets, Recommended Personas, and Lorebook are optional. You can publish your work without adding them.

Click [Save as Draft] at the bottom of the screen to save your current progress. You can save a draft at any time, even if you haven’t completed all the required fields.

  • Once your draft has been saved, you’ll see a “Draft saved” message.

  • If saving fails due to a network issue, a [Retry Save] button will appear. Click it to try again.

  • Only one draft per work can be stored. If a draft already exists, you’ll be asked whether you want to overwrite it. Clicking [Overwrite] will replace the previous draft.

  • Your draft will remain saved even after you leave the creation screen. If you’re editing an existing work, its draft will be managed separately.

Be sure to click [Save as Draft] to save your progress while working.

Once all required fields have been completed, the [Publish Work] button will become available.

After publishing, your work will become visible to other users according to the visibility settings you selected under Basic Settings.

Click [Test Chat] in the upper-right corner of the screen to open a chat window in a pop-up.

This lets you test how conversations work with your current settings before publishing your work.

Test Chat is supported on PC, tablet, and mobile. Select the scenario you want to test from the [Starting Scenario] menu at the bottom of the pop-up, then send your first message to see how the conversation unfolds.
