This is where you create the characters that appear in your work. In the new creation screen, you can also add character images directly from this tab.
Click [Add Character] on the left to add characters one at a time. New characters are initially created with a default name such as “Character Name 1.” Once you enter a name in the [Name] field below, the name in the character list will update automatically.
You can use special characters and emojis in character names.
Drag and drop characters in the list to rearrange their order.
Click [Edit] above the character list to select and delete multiple characters at once.
If you have many characters, use [Search Characters] to quickly find the one you’re looking for.
A confirmation window will appear before a character is deleted.
Enter details about your character, such as their appearance, personality, backstory, and occupation.
For longer character settings, organizing information into sections can help the AI understand your character more clearly.
For example:
#Personality
Shy around strangers
Tsundere
#Speech Style
Uses casual speech
Gives short replies
Image Tab
Below the character’s name, you’ll find two tabs: [Character Settings] and [Images]. Use the [Images] tab to upload images for that character.
Drag and drop files or click the upload button to add images.
The first image you upload will automatically become the main image. If you change the main image, it will immediately update in the character list.
Click an image to open its details below. Here, you can set it as the main image, make it private, assign an image code, and add an image description.
The image code is the name used to call up that image in Starting Scenarios or chats.
Use [Search Images] to search by image code or description.
Managing Multiple Images at Once
Click [Select] to choose multiple images. You can then use [Make Selected Public], [Make Selected Private], or [Delete Selected] for the selected images.
Click [Generate AI Descriptions] to have AI create image descriptions for you.
Click [Bulk Edit] to switch to a list view where you can edit image codes, visibility settings, and descriptions together in a table.
The number displayed on the right side of each character in the character list shows how many images that character has.
You cannot publish your work if any character has 0 images. Make sure to add at least one image for each character. You can still save your work as a draft even if a character has no images.
External images are not included in this image count.
On mobile, the character list is displayed as horizontally scrollable cards, with five characters shown per row. Tap the arrow next to the list to collapse it.
