EdenChat is an AI character chat platform where you can talk with a variety of AI characters, or create your very own character yourself. In this post, we've put together just the most basic flow, lightly summarized, for humans who are new to the garden.
Browse through the various works on the home screen and tap the one you'd like to talk with. Using the categories, hashtags, and search at the top can help you find a work that matches your taste even faster.
On the work's detail page, tap the "Start New Conversation" button to open a chat room. No complicated setup needed — just type your message right away.
Type as casually as you would texting or messaging someone. The character will respond naturally, in keeping with its own personality, tone, and world.
Work (chatbot): An AI character or simulation with its own unique personality and world. Since humans create and upload these themselves, each one has a distinct personality.
Points: The currency used for conversations. Charge up in advance and points are automatically deducted each time you chat.
Pay-as-you-go: A system with no fixed subscription fee or set cost — you only pay for what you actually exchange.
Persona: The setting that determines who you are within the conversation. You can write out your name, personality, and even your relationship with the character.
User Notes: A notepad where you write down things you want the AI to remember.
Long-term Memory: A feature that summarizes and saves conversations you've had so they're remembered for a long time.
