Putting all of your work’s settings into Detailed Settings can make the prompt longer and increase the cost of conversations. A Lorebook lets you store settings that the AI can reference only when they’re needed.
This works the same way as the existing Lorebook.
Name: A name used to identify the Lorebook entry.
Content: Enter the settings or information you want the AI to reference.
Keywords: When one of these keywords appears in the conversation, the content above will be applied. Enter a keyword and click [Add] to add multiple keywords.
Advanced mode lets you define exactly when a Lorebook entry should be activated.
Under “When should the character know this?”, choose one of the following two options.
Activation Keywords: The Lorebook entry is activated when one of these keywords appears within the most recent N turns.
Deactivation Keywords: The Lorebook entry is temporarily deactivated when one of these keywords appears within the most recent N turns. If both an activation keyword and a deactivation keyword appear, the deactivation keyword takes priority.
You can set the number of turns separately for activation and deactivation keywords. The default is 5 turns. Click [Reset to Default] to return the value to 5 turns.
The Lorebook entry is always active.
You can still add deactivation keywords. If a deactivation keyword appears within the most recent N turns, the Lorebook entry will temporarily stop being applied.
The conditions you’ve entered are summarized in a sentence below, making it easy to check whether the Lorebook will work as intended.
Example:Activates when “study” or “underground library” appears within the last 5 turns. However, it temporarily deactivates if “water” appears within the last 5 turns.
Example:The Lorebook is always active. However, it temporarily deactivates if “water” appears within the last 5 turns.
The Lorebook list on the left also displays activation keywords, deactivation keywords, and turn counts as badges. Activation keywords are shown in green, while deactivation keywords are shown in red.
Drag and drop Lorebook entries to rearrange their order.
Use [Search Lorebook] to find a specific entry.
Click [Delete Lorebook] to delete an entry. A confirmation window will appear before deletion.
Lorebook entries are optional. You can publish your work without adding any.
