Channel Talk accepts payment in three ways:

1) Credit card

2) Balance by deposit

3) Credit by Channel Talk

Payment deduction order is by Channel Talk Credit → Balance → Credit Card

Pay your subscription with the credit card registered to the channel. The payment gateway companies are:

  • Payment in Korea: Nicepay

  • International payment: Stripe

  • Shopify: All channels integrated with Shopify need to use the payment methods registered with Shopify admin

  1. Please start your 14-day free trial in Billing → Subscription

  2. Select a plan you want, then click [Start 14-day free trial] to begin

  3. In the next step, enter the credit card information and enter your billing email

    If you don't enter your billing email, you won't receive payment-related emails

  4. By clicking [Register] button, your payment information is all set

  1. If you are using Shopify, you will see the following message when you subscribe to a paid plan or register a payment method. Click [Register Payment Method] to be directed to the Shopify store.

  1. Add your preferred payment method on the Shopify screen.

  1. After adding a payment method, click the [Authorize] button.

  2. Afterward, be sure to press the purple [Confirm] button on the ChannelTalk screen.

  1. Add new credit card information first that will replace the previous one

  2. Click [Set as default] to set the new card as your default payment card. After that, you will be able to delete former card information

There are two ways to set your balance in your channel:

  • Balance Deposited By Bank Transfer:

    • You can deposit an amount of money via bank transfer and use it as a payment method

    • If the payment amount exceeds the balance, the rest will be charged to the credit card on the channel

    • If you would like to make a deposit, please contact us

  • Balance From Refund:

    • When you refund your subscription in the middle of a subscription period, the amount for the remaining period will be deposited into your balance and will be used for the next payment

  • Balance has no expiration date, but you will be charged a 10% penalty when you withdraw your balance to cash

Credits are one of the payment methods that can be used like cash within Channel Talk, and will be given only by the Channel team.

  • If you receive a credit coupon code, you can add it at [Channel Settings] - [Payment] - [Credit]

  • Credits are not applied for 10% government tax

You can check your billing statement based on your plan and usage

  • Billing history is in the tab of [Channel Settings] - [Billing] - [Payment] -[Invoice] and you can print individual bills

  • You can see your payment details including postpaid or prepaid along with your plan subscription

  • If you need previous receipts before October 2020, please contact us.

I'm using Shopify, but I can't change my payment card.

When integrating Shopify with ChannelTalk, payment will be processed using the payment method registered directly with Shopify.

If you need to change your payment method, please delete the existing payment method from [Settings] - [Billing] in Shopify and register your payment information in [Channel Settings] - [Subscriptions] - [Payment Information]. After that, you need to approve the subscription on the Channel Talk screen and click the [Confirm] button on the pop-up to complete the change.
