Create a Space

We'll show you how to create a new space and set up basic information.

Create a Space

  • If you don't have a space: You can create one by clicking the [Create a space] button in the center of the document screen

  • If you have spaces: Click the spaces list at the top of the document sidebar and click the [Create a space] button.

Enter Basic Information

Languages

You can set which languages you want to manage translations of articles, category names, SEO, and more in your space, divided into default and additional languages.

  • Default language: This is the language that the space is based on. If a particular word doesn't have a translation, it will appear in the default language.

  • Additional languages: Additional languages you support, which you can change to the default language at any time.

Space name

This is the title that appears in the header area of your website and is visible to customers. It can be up to 25 characters, including spaces, in any language.

Base URL

This is the base URL that will be used when you publish your Space as a website. You can customize the domain through the Space settings menu after you create your Space. Please enter at least 4 and no more than 16 characters (alphabets, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_) are allowed).
