Improving Character Memory & Emotional Flow

Use this information to help shape the character’s actions and dialogue. Please fill out the following details as thoroughly as possible when creating a character.

In the user note, record any changes to the character’s settings. This includes relationship changes, personality development, changes in appearance or job, major events, etc.

Always explain why the change happened so the AI can understand it better. Especially for relationships, it’s better to describe how the relationship affects the character.

If the changes are related, write them on one line. If they’re unrelated, separate them with line breaks, parentheses, or special symbols for clarity.

The character and the user became lovers after such-and-such event, and the character is now very affectionate and loving toward the user./The character changed jobs to -- due to such-and-such reason.

If the character has a "Day Counter" (e.g., Day 1, Day 2, etc.) in their status, use that format. If the character includes either a day count or a specific date in their status window, use that for organizing entries. If neither is present, you may create and assign a fictional date to keep things consistent. This type of organization helps the AI better follow the flow of events and understand emotional developments over time.
