Effective Date: July 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes the types of information that ONE Tool and its affiliates ("RIRU," "we," "our," or "us"), the operator of the RIRU service, collect and process from and about you.
Except as described below, this Policy applies to all websites and other digital products or services that we make available and that link to this Policy (collectively, the "Services"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the RIRU Terms of Service.
For residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or the United States: please see Section 5 (Regional Privacy Disclosures) for additional details that may apply to you.
When you access or use our Services, we collect information from you. The types of information we collect depend on how you use the Services. We need certain information to provide the Services; if you do not provide it, or ask us to delete it, you may no longer be able to use certain Services. The information we collect includes data you provide directly, data we collect automatically from your interactions, and data we obtain from other sources.
We collect information directly from you—for example, when you register for an account, use the Services, subscribe to updates, or communicate with us. This may include:
Identifiers, such as your name, email address, phone number, display name (RIRU nickname), or username;
Demographic information, such as your date of birth and general location;
Identity and age-verification (KYC) data, where you use adult features or other features that require verification. Verification is performed through our verification provider, Didit—for example, by checking a government-issued identity document. Verification data is used only to confirm your identity and age (and to meet related legal obligations) and is retained only as long as necessary for those purposes.
Financial and payment information, collected through our payment processor, Coda Payments (Codapay), and its channels. Payment card details are handled by the processor; we receive transaction records needed to provide the Services.
Commercial information, such as purchases and transaction history (including Ruby, subscriptions, and Incentive points);
Content you submit, such as chat messages with AI characters, prompts, images or audio you upload, and characters, stories, and other settings you create;
Voice data, including recordings of your voice, if you choose to use voice features; and
Contents of your communications with us, such as customer-support messages.
Information you provide may include data treated as sensitive under applicable law (for example, personal communications, or details revealing your race, religion, health, or sexual orientation that you choose to include in your Content). Sensitive personal information is not required to use the Services—please avoid including it in your interactions with us or the Services.
We and our third-party providers (including analytics providers) use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to collect Technical Information, including: device information (device and browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, app version); usage and interaction information (access times, referring/exit pages, page or screen views, service identifiers such as User ID, Chat ID, or Session ID, and actions taken within the Services); and general geolocation data. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
We may collect information when another user refers you; from third-party platforms when you interact with our ads or social profiles; and from Third-Party Accounts you use to sign in (such as Google or Apple), in accordance with your permissions. When you connect a Third-Party Account, we receive account details such as your username or email address to help you connect to the Services. Connecting is optional; you may revoke permission through that third party, though we may retain information previously collected.
We also collect information that is publicly available on the internet to evaluate and improve the Services, including for AI model development, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We use information to:
Provide, administer, and operate the Services and our business, including AI character chat, image generation, voice, and creation tools;
Process transactions and manage subscriptions, Ruby, and Incentive points;
Verify identity and age (KYC) where required, and enforce age-based access controls (including the Firewall and adult features);
Enforce eligibility restrictions, including sanctions- and location-based restrictions under the Terms of Service;
Generate and analyze inferences about use of the Services (such as your preferences and interests, and overall usage trends), and tailor the Services accordingly;
Communicate with you about the Services, features, and changes to our terms or policies, and respond to your inquiries;
Analyze, maintain, improve, and measure the Services, including to train and improve our and our providers' artificial intelligence / machine-learning models, in accordance with applicable law and the choices described in Section 4;
Develop new features, algorithms, models, and services;
Promote the Services and recruit new users (we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising);
Authenticate account credentials and protect account security;
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, illegal activity (such as child sexual exploitation content and terrorism content), and misuse, and maintain the security of our systems; and
Comply with legal obligations and legal process, and protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of RIRU, you, or others, including to enforce our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other policies.
We may combine information from different sources and may aggregate or anonymize information. We use and disclose aggregated or de-identified data for purposes such as research and marketing, and we do not attempt to re-identify it.
We disclose information in the following circumstances:
Affiliates. To our affiliates and subsidiaries, consistent with this Policy.
Vendors and service providers. To providers who process information on our behalf—such as cloud/data storage, payment processing (Codapay), KYC/identity verification (Didit), AI model providers, customer service, analytics, fraud prevention, content moderation, and marketing.
AI model providers. Your prompts and Content may be transmitted to third-party AI model providers (for example, Anthropic and Google) to generate responses. These providers process the data under our agreements with them.
Safety and protection. Where we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect or defend RIRU or others, or to enforce our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or other policies.
Analytics and campaign measurement. To analytics providers to understand use of the Services, and to measure the performance of our own marketing campaigns. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.
Legal requirements. To comply with law-enforcement, legal, or regulatory process (such as a warrant, subpoena, or court order) or applicable law.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
With your consent or at your direction. For other disclosures you request or direct.
Your characters and other creations are currently private to your account: the Service does not offer publishing to other users. If publishing features are introduced in the future, content you choose to publish will become visible to and usable by other users, as will be described at that time.
Profile information. You may access, correct, update, or delete certain information, and delete your account, through your account settings.
Marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in those emails. We may still send administrative messages (such as notices of changes to our terms or this Policy).
Cookies. Depending on your device or browser, you may be able to manage cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
Conversation history. You may request deletion of your chat history as described in the Terms of Service (Article 21).
Depending on where you live and subject to exceptions under local law, you may have the right to: request information about our processing; access and/or obtain a copy of your information (including in a portable format); object to or restrict certain processing; correct or delete your information; request transfer (portability); withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Some information may be exempt from such requests under applicable law (for example, information we must retain for legal compliance or security). To exercise your rights, contact us at support@riru.ai. To protect your privacy, we take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding; if we cannot verify it, we may be unable to fulfill the request.
We are a company established in the Republic of Korea, and your information is processed in the Republic of Korea and in other countries where we or our service providers operate.
We act as a controller of your personal data. We process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Services); legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Services and preventing fraud); consent (for example, for certain marketing, cookies, or processing of special-category data); and compliance with legal obligations. You have the rights described in Section 4 and may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. International transfers: because we and our providers process data outside the EEA/UK (including in the Republic of Korea), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and any applicable adequacy decision.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws (including the CCPA/CPRA). Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information; you may exercise them as described in Section 4.
The Services are not designed for minors, and our Terms of Service prohibit use by anyone under 13 — or under 16 if you are a citizen or resident of the EEA or the UK — or under any higher minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age; if we learn that we have, we will delete it and terminate the account.
In general. We keep your information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless a shorter period is required or a longer period is permitted or required by law (for example, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements). Retention periods depend on the purpose and your choices, after which we delete or aggregate the information.
KYC data. Identity- and age-verification data is retained only as long as necessary for verification and related legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this Policy. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information.
We may update this Policy from time to time and will indicate the date of the most recent update above. If we make a material change, we will provide appropriate notice as required by law (for example, by email or a prominent notice in the Services). By continuing to use the Services, you confirm that you have read and understood the latest version of this Policy.
