Refund Policy

Effective Date: July 16, 2026

This Refund Policy supplements Article 15 of the RIRU Terms of Service and sets out how withdrawals, cancellations, and refunds are handled for paid services. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.

All refunds are made to the original payment method through our payment processor, Coda Payments (Codapay). Payment-gateway fees for legitimate refunds are borne by the Company.

You may withdraw a purchase and receive a full refund, with no fee, if both of the following are true:

  1. You request the withdrawal within 7 days of the later of the payment date and the date the content became available — or within 14 days if you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, or within any longer period required by mandatory law in your jurisdiction; and

  2. The purchased Ruby has not been used at all.

Loss of the right of withdrawal. By using any of the purchased Ruby before the withdrawal period expires, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for that purchase, as indicated at checkout.

Additional withdrawal grounds. Regardless of the above:

  • If a paid service materially differs from its description or advertising, or is performed differently from the contract, you may withdraw within 3 months from the date the service was provided, or within 30 days from the date you became aware (or could have become aware) of the discrepancy.

  • If you were unable to use a paid service due to a service outage or failure attributable to the Company, we will refund or compensate the affected portion.

Even where the cooling-off withdrawal no longer applies, you may request a refund of your unused paid Ruby at any time:

  • Refund amount = (unused paid Ruby × the per-Ruby price of the applicable purchase) − 10% refund fee.

  • Free Ruby is excluded from the calculation and is forfeited upon refund, including bonus Ruby granted with the refunded purchase.

  • Deduction order (per Terms of Service, Article 13): paid Ruby is spent before free Ruby, and paid Ruby lots closest to expiry are spent first. Your unused paid Ruby balance is determined by this order.

Example. You purchase 1,000 Ruby for USD 10.00 (USD 0.01/Ruby) and receive a 100-Ruby first-purchase bonus. You then spend 400 Ruby. Under the deduction order, all 400 come from paid Ruby, leaving 600 paid Ruby and 100 free Ruby. Your refund is 600 × USD 0.01 = USD 6.00, minus 10% (USD 0.60) = USD 5.40. The 100 free Ruby is forfeited.

Expired Ruby (past its 1-year validity) is not refundable.

The following are not refundable in any case:

  1. Ruby already used;

  2. Free Ruby — Ruby granted through events, promotions, or first-purchase bonuses, and Ruby converted from Incentive points;

  3. Incentive points, whether or not converted;

  4. Free benefits provided with a subscription (e.g., bonus Ruby);

  5. Purchases for which use has been restricted due to a violation of the Terms of Service or related policies (to the extent permitted by applicable law).

  1. Subscriptions renew automatically on the same terms unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.

  2. After cancellation, you keep access for the remainder of the paid cycle; billing stops from the next cycle. Amounts already paid for the current cycle are not refunded, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.

  3. Free subscription benefits are excluded from any refund.

If you are charged in error or overpay, we will refund the difference in full. Where the overpayment resulted from your own error, actual costs reasonably incurred in processing the refund may be deducted.

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first at support@riru.ai — most issues are resolved faster this way. Initiating a payment dispute (chargeback) on a legitimate charge may result in suspension of the account and forfeiture of associated virtual items while the dispute is investigated.

Where a minor (a person under the age of majority in their jurisdiction) makes a payment without the consent of their legal representative, the minor or their legal representative may cancel the payment in accordance with applicable law. Cancellation may be restricted where the minor paid within the scope of property permitted by the legal representative or misrepresented their age.

If the Service is terminated for reasons attributable to the Company, unused paid Ruby will be refunded in accordance with this Policy. We will give at least 30 days' notice before termination (Terms of Service, Articles 11 and 15).

Email support@riru.ai with:

  1. Your RIRU nickname;

  2. The transaction ID;

  3. The amount of Ruby (or the product) you want refunded; and

  4. The reason for the request.

We will review and process eligible refunds to the original payment method without undue delay; the time for funds to appear depends on the payment channel (typically 3–10 business days).

Matters not addressed in this Policy follow the Terms of Service (Article 15) and applicable law. We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be announced in accordance with the Terms of Service.
