Trading card Guidelines

Listings on SNKRDUNK are categorized in two main categories: "Brand-new" and "Used".

Also, the guideline standards for item quality vary depending on the listing method and item categories.

Please list your items in the item categories according to the quality of your items.

In addition, please follow the rules listed below to list your items for sale.

Please only list trading card boxes/packs (with the exception of some promotional packs) as ‘brand-new’.

Please only list your item if all of the following points apply, if any of the following points are not applicable, please do not list your item.

・Brand-new, unused, and unopened

・The product itself and its accessories are not stained or damaged

・All accessories are included

*Bags for storing accessories are not included in what is considered a required accessory

All single trading card can be listed as “Used” items.

All items can be listed in any condition, from mint-condition items (condition the item is after being opened) to items with major damage.

Please take and upload pictures of each individual item you list.

At the time of inspection, our team will confirm that the item we received matches the listing pictures, the listing information and the condition of the item pictured in the listing.

*Please check the listing rules for further details when entering the "商品の状態"(Item’s Condition).

If we find listings with images where it is difficult to confirm the condition of the item due to factors such as reflection over a wide area, blurring, shadowing, or glaring, the listing may be deleted by management. If there is reflection or darkening due to the item being inside of a sleeve etc., please remove the sleeve for taking pictures to the best extent possible.

Regarding listing pictures, please make sure to take pictures for each area with all the cards lined up.

For pictures showing the front and back of the cards, please make sure that they do not overlap.

Please note that regardless of information provided in the listing description, should a card that differs from the item on the listing page be included in the multiple cards you have listed, your listing may be deleted, or the items may be sent to the buyer after the differing card has been disposed of.

Please select the correct information for name/style code of the item(s), size, and condition of the item(s).

Also, when you receive a question from a buyer in the comments of a listing, please check the condition of the item in your possession before responding with the correct condition of the item.

However, please note that if in the supplementary explanations or comments is included information that, aside from the condition of the item itself, is likely to mislead the buyer, or content that differs significantly from the listing information, the transaction may be canceled.

*Deleted comments are also included in the above because there is a possibility that the buyer has already viewed them.

Incorrect listing information may result in cancellation of the transaction and a cancellation fee (10% of the price) may be charged.

・Guidelines for listing items for sale

Trading card items may not be shipped together with items classified in other categories.

Please make sure to arrange the shipment of trading card items only after a transaction has started.

In addition, when you ship trading card items for multiple transactions together, please be sure to separate the items for each transaction and include a sticky note or similar item that shows each item’s transaction ID.

Inadequate packing methods may cause transaction cancellation due to the nature of the product and transaction.

*When you use "Combined Shipping", please select only trading card items.

・Guidelines for Packing and Shipping

For used trading cards, you are able to list a maximum of 10 of the same item in the same listing as long as they all cards match the one on the listing page.

At the time of listing, please reconfirm the number of cards in your possession, then select the correct size (number of cards).

Please select the most applicable condition for your item after checking it for details such as chipping, denting etc.

*The guideline standards at authentication/inspection may differ depending on the listing information (below).

*Should items across multiple levels apply, please list your item under the lowest applicable condition.

Please select the corresponding condition level based on the grade assigned by grading services such as PSA or BGS.However, for items graded by services other than PSA, BGS, or ARS, please select the condition level based on the actual physical condition, regardless of the assigned grade.

*If listing a multi-card set, please base the selection on the lowest grade among the items.

*For items graded by services other than PSA, BGS, and ARS, the condition of the card itself (inside the holder) will be authenticated and inspected according to SNKRDUNK's 'Normal Card' standards.

・Accessories that are included at the time of primary distribution channel *Excluding fixtures listed as not required

・Stickers, store bags, patches

・Delivery slips, receipts, etc.

・Fixtures that are not included at the time of primary distribution, such as authenticity certifications and similar

If included in the listing information, the following will be required accessories:

・Loaders, sleeves, or other items that protect the cards

・Delivery slips, receipts, etc.

・Certificates of authenticity

*Certificates of authenticity are treated as accessories only in the case of trading cards.

The following items are excluded from accessories, even if they are included in the listing information.

・Items not included at the time of primary distribution (rugs, wooden boxes, bands, etc.)

・Cards that differ from the item listing page

・SNKRDUNK Authentication stickers

・Stickers, store bags, patches

・Items that fall under the novelty item scope

　・Example: PSA holder covers that were included at the time of purchase on another platform.

Minor staining, loose shrink-wrap, and other conditions that can occur at the time of manufacturing are often found in items handled by authorized dealers and for this reason are considered within the SNKRDUNK quality standards.

Please note that due to the intrinsic nature of these items, we cannot confirm the condition of trading card items prior to listing. Please understand this in advance.

If an item shows damage that is extensive enough to detract from the design of the item itself, there is the possibility that such condition may be considered to be outside our standards and therefore cannot be listed.

・Quality Guidelines for Trading Cards (Box & Packs)

For items such as One Piece Card boxes that are originally not shrink-wrapped by the manufacturer, only unopened items can be listed.

Items with barcodes or inventory labels/tape applied by the retailer can also be listed, but not if they cover the adhesive tape that seals the box.

In addition, please note that the box will be opened by cutting the tape during inspection to confirm the number of packs inside.

- A note on the item listing page will be provided for applicable items, stating that the tape will be cut; if no such note is present, the inspection will be conducted without cutting the tape.

- If you are listing an item previously purchased on SNKRDUNK, it must be listed as individual packs, as the box has already been opened during our prior inspection.

For products such as Pokémon trading cards that are shrink-wrapped  (i.e. with vinyl film) at the time of initial distribution, items must be listed with the shrink wrap intact.*If the shrink wrap is missing, only unopened products can be listed from the product page with "[No Shrink]" in the title.In addition, as we allow listings regardless of the sales channel, you may list items in the following conditions:

- Shrink wrap marked with permanent marker

- A retailer’s warranty stamp on the box

- Barcodes, inventory labels/tape applied by the retailer directly on the item *Only barcodes (tags) that appear to have been placed by the retailer are accepted

On the other hand, the following conditions are not accepted:

- Shrink wrap with significant looseness *Including items purchased from authorized stores

- Items with noticeable tears

- Shrink with tape attached to it *Excluding barcodes (tags) that appear to have been placed by the retailer

For items that are usually shrink-wrapped at the time of initial distribution like Pokémon cards, if the shrink wrap is missing but the item itself is unopened, you may only list it under the 【シュリンクなし】 listing page.

Please note that such boxes will be opened on both sides at the time of authentication to check the number of packs contained in the box.

*Products annotated as 【シュリンクなし】 in the product image are eligible.

*If you are listing an item purchased from SNKRDUNK, since the box has already been opened during authentication, you must list it as packs only.

・Quality Guidelines for Trading Cards (Single Cards)

If the item is contained inside a card holder that certifies it has been authenticated by a third-party authentication company, such as PSA, we will inspect and authenticate the item as is, still inside the card holder it came into.

Please be assured that we will carefully authenticate the following details even in its original condition (i.e. inside the card holder)

・If the card holder presents signs of opening;

・If the card holder is damaged;

・If the card holder is a counterfeit.

・If the card itself (inside the holder) is a counterfeit.

*The condition of the card itself (inside the holder) will not be checked regarding whether it conforms to the grade assigned by the third-party authentication company

*About “Qualifier” grading, we authenticate based on PSA’s official “Additional Terms & Info”

*If the card arrives inside a clear plastic bag, the plastic bag will be opened at the time of authentication and, depending on its condition, SNKRDUNK will provide a replacement

Please note that the condition of the card itself (inside the holder) is not checked at the time of inspection, as it is considered to conform to the standards of each grading company.However, in case of “damage due to exposure to sunlight”, if such condition cannot be sufficiently confirmed from the listing images, the transaction may be canceled if no mention of it is provided in the listing information section.Additionally, items with label issuance errors (where the card inside the holder differs from the information stated on the PSA label) may also be listed.When listing such items, please include images of the relevant parts that clearly show it is an error card and state in the listing information section that the card is an error card.

The following items cannot be submitted for listing.

・Items that are suspected of being counterfeits

・Items suspected of being stolen or acquired through other criminal acts against property

・Items not registered on SNKRDUNK

・Stickers, store bags and patches

・Item with autographs or handwritten illustrations on them

・Not-for-sale novelty goods, commercial samples, etc. that do not have product pages

・Items with stains, deformation, discoloration

・Items where damage to the box may have affected the card(s) contained inside

・Items with signs of having been opened or with shrink-wrap tears

・Items with missing accessories

・Items that are suspected of being counterfeits

・Items suspected of being stolen or acquired through other criminal acts against property

・Items not registered on SNKRDUNK

・Stickers, store bags and patches

・Not-for-sale novelty goods, commercial samples, etc. that do not have product pages

・Items made outside of Japan *Except those with dedicated product pages

・Items with tears, heavy creases, water damage, or writing

・Items with handwritten illustrations on them

・Items with handwritten autographs *However, listing is permitted only if they fall under one of the following categories:

　・Items that have an "Autographed" product page

　・Autographed "Magic: The Gathering" cards *Handwriting authenticity verification is not performed

SNKRDUNK is committed to eliminating the distribution of counterfeit products.

A violation fee (50% of the total sales price) will be charged for highly malicious sales, such as items that are judged to be counterfeit or items that have been previously identified as counterfeit (or banned) and then re-listed.

In addition, we consider as disruptive any behavior that interferes with other customers' use of the site, such as listing items that are different from those on the product page in the used section.

If any issue is identified, we will delete the listing or restrict the usage of the platform.
