What sock size should I purchase?

Unlike shoes, socks tend to have more leeway when choosing a size.

For this reason, although we cannot give you a definite answer as the sizing may vary depending on each individual item, brand, materials and other factors, we can provide general guidance on which you can base your judgement if you are interested in purchasing socks.

Sock sizes are typically given in size ranges or simply categorized in alpha sizes, i.e. small (S), medium (M), large (L) and so on.

For sock sizes, the number size ranges correspond to the actual foot length rather than direct shoe size measurements.

For this reason, we recommend to measure your foot in order to find out the actual length of your foot for sock sizing.

To measure your foot length, we recommend measuring it from the tip of your longest toe to the heel. The resulting measurement (in inches or centimeters) correlates to your sock size.

For example, if your foot is 10 inches or 25.5 cm long, a sock size 25-27 cm should fit comfortably.

*Most of the items available for purchase on SNKRDUNK are listed in either alpha sizes (S, M, L and so on) or in Japanese sizing (cm). If you use imperial measurement units (e.g. inches), please convert the resulting length from inches to centimeters.

Important: if the size you purchased does not fit, we are not able to provide exchanges or refunds. Please check our related FAQ page for more information:

  • Always refer to the manufacturer's size chart before purchasing.

  • We also recommend checking the size of socks you already own for comparison.

  • If you are between sizes, we suggest opting for the larger size to prevent discomfort.
