Can I use SOUNDRAW songs for Music Channel (or background music/LoFi- girl typed music) on YouTube?
Thank you for your interest in using SOUNDRAW beats in a Lofi-Girl type video/Music Channel environment. Happy to clarify further a bit on the guidelines for this use case:
Please note that you must be under the Artist Plan (any Artist Plans are fine) for this use case. As music channels are media that directly promote audio distribution, this use case is not covered by our Creator Plan (the Creator Plan is only for cases where the music is the background to another content).
While you don't need to modify the songs you intend to use to have them on your YouTube video, do keep in mind that you cannot register Content ID under any circumstances and that you can only keep the songs online while you remain subscribed to SOUNDRAW. Cancelling your subscription means having to take the songs down.
If you also want to have these same songs on audio distribution platforms (such as Spotify or Apple Music), then you'll need to modify the songs to have them there (this means downloading the songs and adding your own unique twists to them in different software). The standard licensing of our Artist Plan is a reference for what you can or can't do for this case, and you can see it in full here.
If you have any questions, please reach out to support@soundraw.co.jp! Thank you!
