How to Set a Thumbnail
FAQ about Thumbnail
In the center of the VideoStep editing screen, a list of slides is displayed. Thumbnails for these slides are automatically generated when a video is uploaded.
The “Thumbnail Settings” feature allows you to set any frame from the uploaded video as the thumbnail for a specific slide. This makes it easier to visually understand the content of each slide at a glance.
Additionally, thumbnails are often used when exporting post information as a PDF.
Move the playhead to the frame you want to set as the thumbnail, then click “Thumbnail setting” above the timeline.
Q: When I tried to set a thumbnail in the “Shape/Text Insertion” section, I saw the message "Failed to retrieve media". Does this mean I can’t set thumbnails in this section?
A: It is possible. This message typically appears when the video is taking longer to load. Please try saving your work temporarily by clicking “Save Draft,” then reload the page and try again.
