8-5. Mobile App

VideoStep currently supports both iOS and Android apps.

With the app, you can view and edit posts.

The app allows the following actions:

1. Watch videos on VideoStep

2. Upload videos and images

3. Use basic editing features

4. Comment on videos

5. Submit answers using the Test Report feature

6. View and complete tasks assigned via the Task feature

1. Tap “Click here to Sign In” at the bottom of the screen.

2. The login screen will appear. Enter your registered email address and password to log in.

1. Tap your profile icon at the top right of the home screen.

2. Tap the "Sign Out" button.

3. You will be logged out and the app will return to camera mode.

To log back in, tap “Click here to Sign In”

1. On the VideoStep login screen, tap “Forgot your password?” at the bottom.

2. Enter your registered email address and tap “Send password reset link”.

3. A password reset link will be sent to the email address.

4. Click the link in the email to open the reset screen.

   Enter your new password and complete the reset process.

As of August 22, 2025, the editing interface of the VideoStep mobile app has been significantly redesigned.Below, we explain the differences between the new editor (released on 2025/08/22) and the old editor.

Please note that when using the mobile app, you will need to download it from the appropriate app store:

• iOS version: Search for VideoStep in the App Store

• Android version: Search for VideoStep in Google Play

Please note that some features differ between the web version and the mobile app version.Choose the environment that best fits your needs.

The mobile app supports the following editing features:

・Crop images

・Insert shapes

・Add text

Differences from the web version:

・The video does not pause when inserting shapes or text.

・Text translation is not available.

・AI-generated voice narration is not supported.

How to Edit on the Mobile App (Images)

Steps to Follow

To create a video by arranging images on the mobile app, follow these steps:

1. Tap the "+" button at the bottom right of the screen

2. Tap the "+" button at the bottom left

3. Select and upload the images

4. Set a title for each slide

5. Edit each image as needed

6. Tap "Next" at the top right of the screen

7. Enter the post title, description, and set a thumbnail.Tap the “Publish” button to finish.

VideoStep is recommended to be used with the following versions:

• Latest major version (as of April 2025):

  • iOS: 18

  • Android: 13

• One previous major version (as of April 2025):
