The Create Video from Text interface has been updated to make it more user-friendly. The process is now divided into three clear steps:
We’ve refreshed the Suggested Styles list, while still giving you the option to start without a style. You can also choose your own custom style right from the beginning. A new feature, Create Video Style, that can analyze a script and extract its style has been added.
Manual input character limit:
Up to 3,000 characters on the Free plan
Up to 10,000 characters on the Light plan and above
Generate Script character limit:
Up to 3,000 characters on the Free and Light plans.
Up to 10,000 characters on the Standard plan and above.
You can also generate multiple versions of your script, and each draft is temporarily saved, making it easy to compare and choose the one you like best.
The Media Settings screen has been redesigned so you can choose the aspect ratio, AI voice, and image options all in one place.
We’ve also added a new option based on your feedback:
- Can I make a video using only free video clips, without any AI images?
- I’ve run out of AI image credits. Can I still continue?
Now you can! You can turn off AI Images and create videos using only free video footage. We hope this change makes your workflow even smoother.
Overview is a new layout that shows your entire video like a document. At the top right of your screen, you’ll find the [Overview] and [Details] buttons.

Use Overview to quickly review your entire video, make simple cuts, or add new content. You can use it to get a better sense of the overall flow and edit more efficiently.
Just hover between clips to split or merge scenes — no extra menus needed.
When transcribing your video, you can now choose to automatically split it into manageable scenes based on context.
You can enable this when importing your file in [Import Video or Audio].
Or you can apply it later in [Edit] → [Auto-Split Scenes]. This can be especially helpful if your video feels cluttered with too many clips!
We’ve added support for ElevenLabs — one of the most accurate transcription engines available. ElevenLabs is available only for English audio.
You can now create larger, clearer AI images — perfect for projects that need more detail. Just enable the High-Resolution toggle when generating your images. Please note that each high-resolution image costs 1 additional credit.

Lets you fine-tune your script’s tone and mood with Additional Context.
You can now set the theme of all your generated images using the image [Prompt] setting.
Try prompts like:
- People in casual clothing
- Colorful city background
- Red tone
Just type what you want into the prompt, and the visuals will be reflected across your entire video!
Projects saved to Vrew’s cloud can now be opened and edited right away without having to download it first.
Saving projects to the cloud works just like saving files on your computer. But now you can seamlessly continue your work across all your devices. Please note that storage limits vary by plan.
As previously announced, pricing for Light, Standard, and the Usage History Eraser has been revised starting with version 3.0.0.
Nope! Features and usage limits included in each plan remain the same. Only the price has changed.
If you already have an active subscription, you’ll continue paying the old pricing. However, if you cancel your subscription and resubscribe later, the new pricing will apply.
We've fixed a number of the bugs reported by users.
Vrew updates automatically, so no separate installation is required. However, if a manual update is needed, please follow the instructions below.
Go to [Help] → [About] in Vrew’s toolbar. A window will appear showing your current version and whether it’s up to date.
If an update is available, the [About] window will display a message. Click the link in the window, or visit the Vrew website (vrew.ai) and click the [Download] button to get the latest version.
