- I want to open multiple Vrew windows at the same time.
- I can’t copy and paste between projects easily.
Now you can simply go to [File] → [New Project] → [Start in New Window] to open another Vrew window without closing your current project.
On the Web version of Vrew, go to [File] → [New Project] → [Start in New Tab].
The previous layout was long and vertical, making it difficult to find options on smaller screens. The new and improved horizontal layout now lets you see all features at a glance.
A new Recently Used section has been added, allowing you to quickly access frequently used or recently used features.
Many users have been using the [Create Shorts with Template] option, and some have requested an easier way to create short-form videos using images. We’ve added a new Short-Form with AI feature to address this need.
If you want to continue to use Create Shorts with Template, you can find this under [Short-Form with AI] → [Short-Form with Template].
You can import up to 20 images or videos from your computer or mobile device. Each imported video uses 1 credit.
In the [Requests] box, you can customize the mood or tone of your short-form video. Or click [AI Suggestions] to get recommended prompts that match your imported media.
Once you’re ready, click [Create Video] and keep the window open while your video generates…
And you’ll get a fully narrated short-form video from just your images and/or videos.
You’ll find the Slides to Video feature in [File] → [New Project].
Previously, you had to manually write your own script or reuse the text from your slides. Now, you can get AI to analyze your slides and create a matching script. You can also customize the tone, length, or style in the [Requests] box, and the AI will complete the script for you — perfect for presentations or reports.
Previously, texts longer than 10,000 characters were cut off early. Now, the limit for AI voice generation in the Slides to Video feature has been increased from 10,000 → 30,000 characters.
Before: Up to 10,000 characters
Now: Up to 30,000 characters
Users on the Free plan can also generate up to 30,000 characters using voices tagged FREE. (Other voices still follow the 10,000-character monthly limit.)
This change only applies to the Slides to Video feature. Character limits for other features such as Text to Video remain unchanged.
Many users requested the option to create thumbnails for vertical shorts in the 9:16 format. Now, you can select [9:16] aspect ratio in [Create Thumbnail]. This will make it easier to prepare thumbnails for vertical videos or short-form videos.
We've fixed a number of the bugs reported by users.
Vrew updates automatically, so no separate installation is required. However, if a manual update is needed, please follow the instructions below.
Go to [Help] → [About] in Vrew’s toolbar. A window will appear showing your current version and whether it’s up to date.
If an update is available, the [About] window will display a message. Click the link in the window, or visit the Vrew website (vrew.ai) and click the [Download] button to get the latest version.
