Vrew Agent is a new feature that lets you request edits through an AI chat interface. Just type what you want, and those changes are applied directly to your project.
You can request a wide range of edits, from caption formatting and spelling corrections, to adjusting playback speed or changing fonts. Previously, Vrew Agent was only available for testing with the demo project. But with this update, you can now use it on your own projects. You can enable Vrew Agent in [Help] → [Laboratory].
Once you enable Vrew Agent, the Vrew Agent icon will appear in the bottom-right of your screen.
You can also find Vrew Agent under the [Home] and [Edit] tabs.
Click either button to start a chat and request edits to your projects. For example, you can ask Vrew Agent to fix typos or change the color of your captions.
Try making other requests and see how Vrew Agent can help streamline your workflow! This feature is currently in beta, so some requests may not work as expected. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve Vrew Agent.
We’ve received many requests for a way to freeze part of a video, like a still frame. With this update, the new Freeze Block feature lets you freeze a specific section of your video and use it like a static image.
You can add a Freeze Block in [Insert] → [Blank Clip] → [Freeze Block].
Or by right-clicking a clip and selecting [Freeze Block].
You can also adjust the duration of the freeze block by selecting the block and entering the desired time in seconds.
Many users told us they wanted to select specific scenes but weren’t sure how. To make this easier and more intuitive, we’ve added a new way to select clips by scene number. You can now select all clips in a scene by going to [Select Clips] → [Scene Number] and entering the scene number.
Or use the new checkboxes in the scene panel to quickly select all clips within a scene.
We've fixed a number of the bugs reported by users.
Vrew updates automatically, so no separate installation is required. However, if a manual update is needed, please follow the instructions below.
Go to [Help] → [About] in Vrew’s toolbar. A window will appear showing your current version and whether it’s up to date.
If an update is available, the [About] window will display a message. Click the link in the window, or visit the Vrew website (vrew.ai) and click the [Download] button to get the latest version.
