The new AI Proofread feature uses AI to understand the overall context of your video, correcting and unifying names, technical terms, abbreviations, and more when generating subtitles.

  • Credits required: 1 credit / 100 characters

AI Proofread can be enabled in the Transcription window when importing a file via [New Project] → [Import Video & Audio], or under [Captions] if you've already imported your file.

Once proofreading is complete, keywords corrected by AI will be shown. If your video contains many technical terms or specific names, this feature will be extremely useful.

Vrew currently offers 835 free background music tracks — and with so many options, finding the right one isn't always easy. To help with that, a new [AI Search] has been added to the [Music] panel.

Search by instrument, mood, genre, and more. Simply describe what you're looking for. For example:

  • New age music featuring bright and uplifting piano melodies

  • Jazz music played with cheerful acoustic instruments

  • Hip-hop beats with hopeful synthesizer sounds

4 new templates have been added to the [Templates] panel. Create your own unique videos using templates designed exclusively by Vrew.

You can now change the save location for temporary files, including project assets and cache files, to a different drive. This option can be found under [Help] → [Settings] → [Storage] → [Advanced Settings].

  • Please note that clicking [Reset] will change it back to the default (C Drive) location.

You can now hover over any image or video in the [Insert] → [Images & Videos] to see an enlarged preview. This also applies to the [Free Stock Images] and [Free Stock Videos] panel.

The Remove Noise feature was previously only available in the desktop app, but with the 4.2.0 update, it’s now also available in the web browser version.

Additionally, instead of generating a separate noise-reduced file, it now replaces the audio directly, making the process faster and more stable. You can find the feature under [Effects] → [Noise Removal].

You can now set the default save location when starting a new project in [Settings] → [General] → [Project Save Location]. Choose between saving your projects to your computer or the cloud (or browser if you’re on the web version).

You can now filter [Free Stock Images] and [Free Stock Videos] by aspect ratio.

When adding image or video clips, you previously had two options: importing files or choosing free assets. With the 4.2.0 update, you can now also pull directly from media saved in your [My Images & Videos] panel.

We've fixed a number of bugs reported by users.

Vrew updates automatically, so no separate installation is required. However, if a manual update is needed, please follow the instructions below.

Go to [Help] → [About] in Vrew’s toolbar. A window will appear showing your current version and whether it’s up to date.

If an update is available, the [About] window will display a message. Click the link in the window, or visit the Vrew website (vrew.ai) and click the [Download] button to get the latest version.
