ZEP QUIZ Guide

More Flexible Boards, Smoother Mobile Play ✨

Hello, this is the ZEP QUIZ team.

Here’s what’s new in the fourth week of July 2026.

You can now create boards and quizzes directly from the class page.

New boards are linked to the class automatically,

so there’s no need to search for them and attach them afterward.

Board owners can turn posts and comments on or off separately under [Settings] → ‘Allow Posting’.

Keep them open while collecting responses, then close them when time is up or you’re ready to present.

Closing them won’t remove any existing posts or comments, and users with permission can still edit or delete their content.

Posts can now be up to 2,000 characters, and comments up to 1,000 characters.

There’s plenty of room for lesson notes and more detailed responses.

You can also attach up to 6 photos to a single post.

Keep the whole activity, from the process to the final result, together in one post and swipe through the photos with ease.

Copy a board you own, or one that its owner has allowed others to copy, and reuse it for a new class or group of students.

The board settings, groups, and text announcements are copied over with it.

Participant posts, comments, likes, and attached images or files aren’t copied, so every new board starts fresh.

We’ve fine-tuned the size and spacing of the joystick and control buttons for a more comfortable experience on phones and tablets.

Controls now feel more responsive,

and stay more reliably in place when you rotate the screen or resize the browser.

  • Math formulas in AI-generated questions now display more accurately.

  • We’ve cleaned up the sidebar and My menu to make them easier to navigate.

  • If you have editing permission, you can now edit locked quizzes again.

We’ll keep improving ZEP QUIZ for you.
