ZEP QUIZ Guide

Round-by-round scores, retry settings, and moving to student locations ๐ŸŽฏ

2026/8/6

Hello, this is the ZEP QUIZ team.

Here are the updates for the second week of August 2026.

๐Ÿ“ข You can choose Round-by-round score and Shuffle question order on retry from the in-class settings. See the Round mode guide ๐Ÿ‘‰ here!

When only cumulative scores are shown throughout a game, early score gaps can feel discouraging for some students. Teachers can now choose how to show the mid-round ranking from Round mode's [Game start] โ†’ "Show mid-round ranking" settings.

  • Round-by-round score: Shows the ranking based on points earned in the round that just ended.

  • Cumulative score: Shows the ranking based on points from all rounds so far.

  • Don't show: Hides the mid-round ranking.

Changes made during class take effect from the next round. Round-by-round score applies only to the mid-round ranking; the final result is still calculated from the cumulative score across all rounds.

In Sequential play and Free play, turn on [Class menu] โ†’ "Quiz settings" โ†’ "Shuffle question order on retry".

  • First attempt: Uses the original question order.

  • Retry: Randomizes the question order for each student.

When the teacher who created the quiz clicks a student's avatar on the map, the student is selected in [Participants] and the action menu opens.

Select "Move to location" to move the teacher avatar directly to the student's location.

If clicking the avatar is difficult, open [Participants] โ†’ select a student to open the same menu.

You can check a student's progress or offer help without walking around the map to find them.

Weโ€™ll keep making ZEP QUIZ better for your classes.
