ZEP QUIZ Guide

View your student list, set student names, and paste a whole class list at once.

In the [Students] tab, Grid view shows students as cards.

List view shows a table. Check each login account and last access, and use the ⋮ menu to edit names or remove students.

Names set in the [Students] tab are also used in quizzes and boards linked to the class. They are separate from account nicknames.

  1. Switch to List view and select the first name cell to fill.

Copy several names from a spreadsheet and paste them in. They fill in with an Added label. Check them and click [Save].

You can add up to 200 students per class. Before saving, click [Undo] to go back.

Click a code in the Login account column to copy it.

Click the QR icon next to a code to see the student's QR code in a large view. Show it on screen so the student can scan it.

Click the printer icon at the top right of the list to print cards with each name, QR code, and student code. Cut them out and hand them to students.

You can lock nicknames so students can't change them during a quiz. On the quiz play screen, select Players (top right) > Settings > Lock Nickname Changes.

  • When the lock is on, students can't change their nicknames and can only customize their avatars.

  • When the lock is off, a student's nickname automatically changes to their class display name.

Students type in their name and enter the class. The name they enter is also recorded in the quiz results.

The quizzes, boards, and materials you linked appear together in the [Assignments] tab. Select a quiz card to start playing right away, and the results are recorded in the class automatically. Once a student submits at least one question, a ✓ mark appears on the thumbnail.

Select a quiz with a ✓ mark to review your results.
