Student Management

Shall we invite students to our class?

Click Invite Class to view the invite code, QR code, and link that you can share with your students. Students can enter the class using the code or link provided by the teacher. Student login is required to join the class.

Student Invitation Tip!

Before starting the lesson, display the invite code or QR code on the screen and guide students to log in first.

If you are curious about what the student view looks like, try entering the demo class below. Scan the QR code with your phone camera or click the link to see the student entry screen exactly as they see it.

Under the Student tab, you can view your class roster. From the menu on each student card, you can edit names or remove students.

Name Registration Policy

The names set in Student Management will also be applied when students participate in quizzes & boards linked to the class.

  • It is managed separately from account nicknames and will be displayed as the class roster name within the class.

  • Students can use different names for each class.

  • Teachers can edit student names at any time from the Student tab.

You can prevent students from changing their nicknames during a quiz.

On the quiz play page: Top rightParticipants button ➔ Settings () button ➔ Lock Nickname Changes

This feature is available in the Participant Settings!

  • When Nickname Lock is ON: Students cannot change their nicknames and can only customize their avatars.

  • When Nickname Lock is OFF: The student's nickname will automatically change to their class display name.

  • Entering the Class — Students enter after typing in their name. The name entered upon entry will also be recorded in the quiz results.

  • Linked Quizzes & Boards — Activities linked by the teacher are gathered and displayed in one place.

  • Instant Participation — Clicking a quiz starts the game immediately, and results are automatically recorded in the class. A "Completed" badge appears as soon as they submit at least one question.

  • Checking My Results — Students can review the results of the quizzes they have solved.
