Hello, this is the ZEP QUIZ team.
Here are the 2nd updates for the 4th week of November 2025.
In addition to “New” maps, we’ve added a “Teacher’s pick” tag.
Maps that fit the current season or class situation are grouped and shown at the top, so you can find the right map faster.
Each quiz map now shows a short description of its type in the list, such as Free, Team, or Order.
Even teachers using ZEP QUIZ for the first time can understand each map’s characteristics at a glance and choose more easily.
When you open the quiz map selection modal, a map that’s ready to use in class is automatically selected.
When you switch tabs, a suitable map for that tab is auto-selected, and if the map you chose earlier exists in the new tab, it stays selected so you don’t have to choose it again.
In Order, Free, and Team maps, a highlight effect is applied to the teacher’s avatar.
You can turn the avatar highlight effect on or off from [Class menu] > [Avatar highlight effect].
In private quizzes (when the quiz is set to [Hide from library]), you can use the [Keep closed] option via [Teacher menu] > [Close waiting room] > [Keep closed].

To use [Keep closed], you must first set the quiz to [Hide from library].
If there are no users in the map, the waiting room will automatically switch to Closed.
If you change the map to Public or switch to the Free plan, the waiting room status will automatically change back to Open.
Settings you change in the class menu, such as Retake quiz, Show ranking, and Avatar highlight effect, are now saved.
Once you set them, they stay the same the next time you open the same map, so you don’t need to configure them every time.
