ZEP QUIZ Guide

You Decide When to Reveal the Answers 🎯

Hello, this is the ZEP QUIZ team.

Here's what's new in the second week of July 2026.

📢 This week brings a bunch of updates, from how answers are revealed to decorating your avatar. New to making quizzes? 👉 Check out this guide to get started!

The old "show the answer when they get it wrong" setting has grown into three answer-reveal options.

Right from the quiz builder, choose between Always show / Show only when wrong / Never show,

so you can fine-tune when answers appear to fit your lesson.

The quiz detail page shows a badge for the current setting, so students can tell at a glance too.

Now you can freely change the map while editing a quiz you've already created.

No need to rebuild from scratch. Switch to whatever map you like, and your questions and settings stay exactly as they were.

So you're never staring at a blank screen, we've added brand-new board onboarding templates.

Pick from ready-to-use templates like Debate & Discussion, Lesson Recap, KWL Chart, Understanding Check (Traffic Light), Class Notice Board, New Term Introductions, Shout-Out Wall, and Birthday Board, and set up your first board in no time.

You can also post an announcement on a board to share important notes with your students.

At the top of the profile edit screen, you'll find a new full-body avatar preview and a [Decorate Avatar] button.

In the decorate window, try on your favorite items and freely change up the colors too.

Preview the animations, standing, walking, and dancing, then save it or download it as an image.

When teachers and students all join with avatars that show off their own style, quiz time gets a whole lot more fun.

We've reorganized the header, sidebar, and mobile menu so you can find the content and menus you want more easily.

Move naturally between your quizzes, boards, classes, and profile, all from one place.

We'll keep making ZEP QUIZ better, faster.
