Manage Subscription
If you are subscribed to a paid plan, you can change your subscription details, such as the renewal date or cycle and usage limits, from the [Billing] - [Subscription] section. Please routinely check your usage and manage your costs via the current usage dashboard.
You can manage your subscription details, such as renewal options, payment dates, and usage, from [Billing] - [Subscription]. In addition, you can check your current usage to monitor your billing amount.
Current Plan
You can see the usage limits for each feature of the plan your channel is currently on.
Renewal
By default, plan subscriptions automatically renew each month/year.
You can turn auto-renewal ON or OFF
Click the edit icon at the right corner, and change the plan renewal setting
If it is OFF, your channel will be switched to a free plan when your current subscription ends
Payment date
The payment date is determined as the date of the first payment
The payment date can be any day between the 1st to 27th.
If your first payment date is one of the days between 28th to 31st, your subscription will be set to the ‘last day of the month’.
How to change the payment date
How-to: [Channel Settings] - [Billing] - [Subscription] - [Payment date]
Click the edit icon at the right corner, and change the payment date.
After the change is made, the first upcoming payment date will remain the same as before the change. The bill will include the adjusted period of the subscription. This adjustment may result in a different billing amount, but only for this period.
You can see a summary of your usage under [Subscription] - [Current Usage]. Clicking on each item will bring you to a detailed dashboard.
Calculation Period for Current Usage
Monthly subscription: from the current month's payment date to the day before the next month's payment date
If you change the payment date during a subscription period, the usage calculation period may also change, shorter or longer than one month.
Yearly subscription: usage calculations renew monthly from the subscription start date.
Example case: If you start your yearly subscription on Oct 9th, you can review the usage from Oct 9th to Nov 8th, and then from Nov 9th to Dec 8th in the following month.
Estimated Usage This Month (Current Usage tab)
This dashboard gives you a detailed look at your usage this month. Check it from time to time to keep your costs under control.
You can see your current usage, remaining prepaid usage, and limits for each feature
You can monitor your usage status and estimate your postpaid bill
If you're expecting a postpaid bill, purchase a prepaid top-up in advance. It will save you money compared to postpaid billing.
Prepaid usage is a great option to save costs if you can estimate your average monthly usage (→ Learn more about Prepaid Usage)
Current usage: This is your usage for the current month. You can hover over it to see the details: if you've reached your limit, it'll say [Limit reached], or if you've incurred postpaid charges, it'll say [Postpaid charge].
Remaining usage: The amount you have left to use this month without incurring additional charges.
Remaining prepaid usage (in advance) this month: This is the amount you can use in advance for the current month without incurring any additional charges. Once you've run out of this usage, you'll be billed postpaid for any overuse.
Minimum limit: This is the minimum amount that will be deducted even if you do not actually use them this month.
Text and Kakao Talk messages are not subject to minimum usage limits.
Limits: Displays any system or manual limits you have set. If your usage exceeds your limit, the feature will be limited in its function.
Excess Postpaid cost (estimated): This shows the estimated amount you will be charged for postpaid on your billing date.
System limits
This refers to the plan’s limits by system. See below for the limits of each plan. If the system limit is exceeded, upgrading to a higher plan is required to continue using the service.
Early Stage | Growth | Enterprise | |
MU | Up to 3,000 | Up to 1,000,000 | Inquire Channel Team |
Basic Seats | Up to 10 | Up to 1,000 | Inquire Channel Team |
Operator Seats | Up to 5 | Up to 1,000 | Inquire Channel Team |
Manual limits
These are the limits you can set manually for each channel. Available for all plans.
By setting manual limits, you can ensure that each feature is only used within the usage you’ve set, allowing you to anticipate cost ranges.
Please note that the feature will be limited if your usage exceeds the monthly limit you set
How to Set Manual Limits:
Under the Subscription → Monthly usage limit tab, you can manage manual limits for MU, basic seats, operator seats, and add-ons.
Please beware that add-on usage spikes close to the set limit may result in errors.
You can change and delete the limits you set at any time.
What Happens When the Limit is Exceeded:
MU: unable to view and manage older customers who have the oldest visit data if new customers are added
Basic seats: new managers cannot be invited to the channel
Operator seats: new managers cannot turn on the operator mode
Add-ons: stop actions/activations or sending messages
When Support bot is inactive, customers will be able to directly leave a message (the same as a free plan status)
If the system limit is exceeded, only the exceeded feature will be limited, and other add-ons will continue to function normally.
You will be notified by email when the limit is exceeded.
You can review the usage history for each aspect over the past month.
