Account settings

You can manage your account settings, or set the language of desk screen.

You can manage your account settings by clicking on [Personal Settings] - [Account Settings], located second from the bottom on the left side of Channel Talk.

Login Account

This is the account you use to log in to Channel Talk. If you wish to change your login account (email), please modify it here.

Email Verification (Scheduled for release on 2025-11-28)

If your account has not completed email verification, you can perform [Email Verification] in your account settings. Accounts that have not completed email verification will be restricted from creating new channels and participating in invitations.

  • Starting from November 28, 2025, email verification will be mandatory for channel creation and participation.

  • Even if you are already participating in a channel before November 27, 2025, you must complete email verification once in your account settings.

Language You can select the language for the Channel Talk admin screen from Korean, Japanese, or English.

Password You can change the password used to log in to Channel Talk.

Multi-factor Authentication When logging in to your Channel Talk account, you can receive an authentication code via email for verification. This additional email verification process significantly enhances security beyond just your password.

  • 'Disable Multi-factor Authentication' button → Multi-factor authentication is 'active'.

  • 'Set Up Multi-factor Authentication' button → Multi-factor authentication is 'inactive'.

Marketing Information Notification Settings

You can set whether to receive marketing messages from Channel Talk. Even if you turn off these notification settings, essential service operation messages will continue to be sent.

Night Push Sound On If you wish to receive push sound notifications between 10 PM and 6 AM, please turn on this option.

Multi-channel Response Even if you participate in multiple channels, you can manage ongoing conversations at once through multi-channel response. (→ Learn more)

Log Out You can log out from your current account.

  • If you do not know your login account, you need to confirm it through Channel Talk support.

  • Please provide as much information as you remember, such as your channel name or manager's mobile number.

You can reset your password and log in by using the password reset function.

  1. Please check your entire mailbox, including spam folders and social categories.

  2. Please set up [Exclude from Spam] in your email platform.

How to set up spam exclusion in Gmail

  • Log in to Gmail → Click the gear icon in the top right corner → See all settings

  • Go to the 'Filters and Blocked Addresses' tab → Create a new filter

  • Enter feedback@channel.io in the 'From' field → Create filter

  • Select [] 'Never send it to Spam' → Click 'Create filter' and save.

How to set up spam exclusion in Naver Works

  • Log in to Naver Works Mail → Top menu → Click 'Settings'

  • Select 'Mail > Spam Settings' on the left

  • Enter feedback@channel.io in the 'Allowed Senders' list and add → Save

How to set up allowed senders in Outlook / Microsoft 365 Mail

  • Log in to Outlook → Click the gear icon () in the top right corner → 'View all Outlook settings'

  • Left menu: Mail → Click 'Junk email'

  • In the 'Safe senders and domains' section → Enter feedback@channel.io and save.

  1. After setting up, please try to reset your password or log in again.

  2. If you still do not receive the authentication code, please contact Channel Talk support.

If you signed up with an incorrect email address or cannot access your login account (email) due to not using the existing email address, you will need to create a new Channel Talk account and join the channel. We ask for your understanding as this procedure is for the protection of the channel and customer personal information.

  • Click 'Login' in the top right corner of the Channel Talk website → Click 'Sign up with email' to create an account.

  • Request an invitation from another manager participating in the channel and join. [Channel Settings] - [Team Members] - [Managers] - [+Invite New Manager]
