Outbound Workflows

Outbound workflows allow you to send marketing messages through workflows.

You can acquire customer information simply through input forms without the hassle of lengthy signup processes. Initiate proactive customer engagement by sending marketing surveys to secure new leads.

Only workflows triggered by 'When starting a chat via Channel Talk' can be used as outbound workflows.

  1. Choose between a one-time marketing message or a campaign based on your needs, select 'Channel Talk Message' as the delivery method.

  1. Click on [Use Workflow] → Load the saved workflow (choose between bubble or workflow).

  2. Configure the target audience and operational conditions, then proceed with sending or publishing.

Guide customers back to your site with restock alerts when they visit out-of-stock product pages.

  1. Workflow Setup

    1. Trigger: When starting a chat via Channel Talk

    2. Scheduling and Operation: Private mode.

    3. Configure Input Form: Create an input form to collect necessary details such as product name, color, and contact information, along with the message you want to guide.

      • If there are many products awaiting restock, consider using a single-choice dropdown format instead of open-ended questions for the input form.

    4. Once everything is set, click the 'Publish' button at the top right to apply the changes.

  1. Campaign Message Setup

  • Go to Marketing > Campaign > Click [+ Create a campaign] at the top right > Choose 'Message via Channel Talk' as the delivery method.

  1. Select 'Use Workflow.'

  2. Trigger Event: Visit page + Set the Page URL to the URL of the relevant product.

  3. Configure the Delay, Additional event filters, Operation, and Goals as needed.

For B2B or high-ticket services, leverage outbound workflows to increase lead acquisition.
