Security Settings

You can set up two-factor authentication in order to protect your customer and team data. Make sure your team members have secure accounts through this feature.

Your customer’s account, chatting content, and other important information can be protected through encryption.

  • Customer information encryption (member hash) from the developer side is required. Please refer to the Developer guide for more information.

  • Settings can be made only on the site developed for a custom website or WordPress website.

  • If the Customer information security is not properly set up, then the channel button may not appear properly on your website.

In order to enhance the information security of the channel, managers are required to provide an additional authentication number upon logging into their accounts.

  • Set up with multi-factor authentication

  • Once the multi-factor authentication is enabled, managers in the channel must enter the multi-factor authentication code sent to their emails to log in.

  • You can also personalize it in your manager's account settings.

    • Managers must have multi-factor authentication logins for each browser and device.

You can download manager activity logs in json format.

You can keep track of the activity of the managers in your channel through member activity logs.

  • Only members with the ‘Owner’ role can access the activity log, which is kept for up to one year.

  • Managers' log-in history, contact information, and user chat data can be downloaded for a specific time period.

  • Through the download request history, you can also check the download history of the log.

  • Once the download is complete, the channel bot will notify you in your own personal chatroom.

When a member logs in, the channel button disappears.

If the customer information is not set properly, then the channel button may not appear properly to protect sensitive customer information. Please disable customer information security or set the function again by referring to the developer guide.
