As part of the initial setup, you need to configure the form to be embedded in your theme. In this section, we'll walk through the steps to set up and embed the form in your theme.
From the app settings, click "Theme Embed" to open the theme customization editor.
Enable the app block.
If you want the registration form to be displayed before customer login, select the supported theme template. If the display timing is set to after customer login, no theme selection is required.

After making your selection, be sure to click "Save".
*As of April 4, 2026, the themes that can be selected directly within the Howdy Customer Registration app are Dawn/Rise, Horizon-based themes, and Prestige.
If you would like to display the form on any other theme, you can implement it using the method described in the article below.

To verify the app's behavior, set the registration form display timing to "Before Login".
Go to General Settings, select "Before Login" under Registration Form Display Timing, and save your changes.
This setting is only being used to test the app's behavior. You may change it to a different option after confirming that everything is working correctly.
When the registration form display timing is set to "Before Login" in the Howdy Customer Registration App, clicking the customer account icon will open the registration popup.
To verify the setup, click the customer account icon in the top-right corner of your storefront. If the popup appears, the app has been configured successfully.
