[Advance Notice] End of Support for the Latest Channel Talk Update on Certain iOS Versions

Impacted Users:

①: Users of the Channel Talk mobile app on iOS 16 and below

②: Channels using the iOS SDK

Support for the latest version of Channel Talk will be ending on certain iOS versions. This is a measure to ensure stable service management and provide a better user experience, and we appreciate your understanding.

① Users of the Channel Talk Mobile App on iOS 16 and Below

• End of Support Date: Monday, November 18th, 2024

• Changes: Support for updates to the Channel Talk app on iOS versions below 16 will be discontinued.

• Action Required: Please update your iOS to the latest version. (→ See update instructions)

  • How to Check iOS Version: [Settings] → [General] → [About] → [iOS Version]

  • Check Devices Compatible with iOS 16 and iPadOS 16

• Impact if Not Updated: There will be no changes to the app you are currently using. However, after the support end date, you will no longer be able to update to the latest version of the Channel Talk app on iOS versions below 16.

② Channels Using the iOS SDK

• End of Support Date: Sunday, December 1st, 2024

• Changes: The minimum OS version for the iOS SDK will be updated to iOS 15 or higher.

• Action Required: Set the minimum iOS version to 15 or above for the app using the SDK.

• Impact if Not Updated: If your app is using an iOS version below 15, there will be no impact on the current SDK. However, after the support end date, you will not be able to update to the latest SDK version unless the minimum version requirement is met.
