Recommended For: Those who want to use ALF not only for chats but also for handling actual tasks Scheduled Release: October 2025
ALF is getting more powerful. Until now, it could only be customized with role descriptions and tailored instructions. With this update, you’ll be able to manage ALF more precisely through Tasks, Knowledge, and Rules, and entrust it with not just chats, but actual business processes.
Preview:
Task: Register customer requests as tasks, and ALF will go beyond simply answering—it can automatically carry out the associated work.
Knowledge: Manage all reference materials for ALF in one place. Beyond existing documents, you’ll soon be able to add Excel files, PDFs, websites, and more.
Rule: Role descriptions and tailored instructions will now be unified under “Rules.” You can set different rules by channel, customer information, or chat context, giving you fine-grained control over ALF’s responses and actions.
After the update, you’ll also be able to filter which knowledge sources ALF should reference.
