Enabling or Disabling Hardware Acceleration

Changing hardware acceleration settings can help when conflicts occur during GPU (graphics card)–based processing. These conflicts may involve your graphics driver, GPU memory, or browser/app environment.

  • Video decoding failures

  • Video encoding failures

  • GPU crashes

  • Export freezing or stopping midway

  • Rendering, memory, or session-related errors

  • E07: Video decoding failed

  • E10: Video encoding failed

  • E25: GPU crash

  • E26: Export stopped

  • E27 / E28: Rendering, memory, or session-related errors

In the video export window, click Advanced Settings.

At the bottom of the settings panel, find Hardware (Graphics Card) Acceleration.

  • If the checkbox is selected, hardware acceleration is enabled.

  • If the checkbox is not selected, hardware acceleration is disabled.

Try exporting again after changing this setting.

If export issues continue after changing the hardware acceleration setting, your graphics driver may need to be updated.

Follow the instructions here to update your graphics driver.

In some cases, re-encoding the video file may resolve the issue.

You can find instructions on how to re-encode a video here.
