About the payment method of customs duty
Please note that FASBEE do not deal with custom duties and procedures of the items ordered by our customers. Custom duty varies depending on the type of items included in the package, declared price and so on. Customers have to pay for the customs duties as it will not be afforded by FASBEE.For the payment method of custom duties, it depends on the country. Shipping charges will be applied based on the delivery area for each shipment. Additionally, if the shipment includes heavier items such as coats or boots, an extra fee will be charged based on the quantity. According to Australia government, all the items imported to Australia will be subject to a 10% Goods & Service Tax (GST). However, as we confirmed with Australia government, currently, you do not have to pay GST when purchasing at FASBEE. Nonetheless, if your package values over 1,000AUD, you will need to pay GST when the goods arrive in Australia. According to Singapore government, all the items imported to Singapore may be subject to a 8% Goods & Service Tax (GST). However, according to Singapore government's guide, currently, you do not have to pay GST when purchasing at FASBEE. Nonetheless, if the package's value exceeds $400 SGD, Singapore Customs will charge customers GST when the goods arrive in Singapore. According to New Zealand government, all the items imported to New Zealand will be subject to a 15% Goods & Service Tax (GST).However, as we confirmed with New Zealand government, currently, you do not have to pay GST when purchasing at FASBEE. Nonetheless, if the goods are individually valued at more than $1000 NZD, or are part of a single consignment (group) of goods that is valued at more than $1000 NZD, New Zealand Customs will charge customers GST when the goods arrive in New Zealand. If you refuse to pay the customs duty and the parcel is returned to us, a shipping and handling fee may be deducted from your refund.
