WhatsApp integration is now available. By connecting WhatsApp with Channel Talk, you can manage incoming WhatsApp customer messages directly from the Channel Talk inbox.

  • Connect from [Channel Settings] → [Integrations] → [App Store] → [WhatsApp].

  • Replies can only be sent within 24 hours of the customer’s last message.

  • Check the guide for detailed setup instructions.

CX Score evaluation criteria are changing

Effective date: 2026-05-29

The CX Score and Topics feature update, previously released in open beta last month, will now roll out to all Growth plan channels and above. As part of this update, the criteria for conversations eligible for CX Score evaluation will change as follows. Please refer to the announcement for full details.

Changes

  • Only conversations with at least 2 ALF or agent messages and 2 or more customer messages will be evaluated for CX Score.

  • Evaluations now happen in real time when a conversation is resolved or closed, so the “Evaluating” status will no longer exist.

Inbox ALF tab names are changing and the v1 tab will be removed

Effective date: 2026-06-10

The ALF tab name in the inbox will change from “Customer ALF” to “ALF.” Channels with previous Customer ALF v1 conversation history will no longer see the “Customer ALF v1” tab in the inbox. Please check the announcement for more details.

Exited chats will now remain visible in customer conversation history

Effective date: 2026-04-30

Previously, conversations that customers exited were not shown in the customer conversation list. These chats will now remain visible. Please refer to the announcement for more details.

Updated sorting order for team member and group chat searches

Effective date: 2026-04-30

Search and mention sorting has been improved to help you find the right person or room more quickly.

  • When using @mentions: members currently in the chat room will always appear first.

  • When searching group chats: rooms you’ve joined will always appear at the top.

  • When searching your own name: your profile will appear at the top instead of being mixed with other results.

  • When searching for coworkers you haven’t chatted with: searches now support middle characters in names, English nicknames, and email addresses.

Increased limits for teams, default sheets, and operator sheets

Effective date: 2026-04-29

Limits have been increased to support larger teams and more flexible operations.

  • Default Sheets: 1,000 → 2,500 (Free / Growth plans)

  • Operator Sheets: 1,000 → 2,500 (Free / Growth plans)

  • Teams: 200 → 600 (All plans)

[Knowledge] Website knowledge import improvements

Release date: 2026-05-14

  • Expanded page limits: The maximum number of pages that can be imported at once has increased from 3,000 to 10,000, and crawling speed has improved.

  • Custom page limits: You can now directly choose how many pages to import.

  • Re-import removal: The website re-import feature will no longer be supported. (→ See announcement)

[Tasks] Task recipes are now available

Release date: 2026-05-11

Instead of building tasks from scratch for order tracking, cancellations, returns, and exchanges, you can now select from prebuilt task recipes and apply them immediately. Frequently used commerce recipes are included so you can set up workflows quickly without complicated configuration.

[Tasks] Restore previous task versions

Release date: 2026-04-21

If you want to revert a task after editing it, go to version history and click [More] → [Restore] on the version you want to recover. (→ See the guide for details)

[Tasks] Custom functions are now available

Release date: 2026-04-22

You can now register external API calls or JavaScript executions as reusable custom functions. Once registered, they can be reused across multiple tasks, making it easier to apply commonly used logic without rebuilding it every time. (→ See the guide for details)

Easier Markdown support in Team Chat and User Chat

Release date: 2026-04-29

When pasting Markdown copied from external sources, formatting is now preserved automatically, and code blocks are supported in both Team Chat and User Chat. Team Chat also supports Markdown previews so you can review formatting before sending.

File attachment limit increased to 20

Release date: 2026-05-07

The maximum number of files you can attach at once has increased from 10 to 20, making it easier to send multiple files together.

Marketing click-through rate tracking is now available

Release date: 2026-05-14

Click-through rates are now tracked for emails, some AlimTalk messages, and brand messages, helping you measure campaign performance more accurately.

Traffic source tracking added to events

Release date: 2026-04-30

New events now track all referral paths customers used to reach your site, making traffic source analysis easier and more detailed.
